Samurai & Dragons is essentially Kingdom Conquest for the Vita made for Japan. A few months ago Sega refreshed the game by adding characters like Sonic, Bayonetta, and Sakura from Sakura Wars. They’re targeting Valkyria Chronicles and Shining series fans with their latest promotion.
The Special Collaboration 2012 Revival Pack includes characters from both series. You get Valkyria Riela, Alicia, Selveria (two of ‘em), Carisa, Maximilian,Imca, Edy, and well the list goes on and on. Rick from Shining Hearts, Maxia from Shining Blade, and other characters are in the pack which costs 300 CP until January 9, 2013.
Samurai & Dragons was the first free to play game for PlayStation Vita. Sega added characters from their library like Sonic the Hedgehog, Bayonetta, and Akira from Viruta Fighter.
But, now Samurai & Dragons is coming to an end. Service for the PlayStation Vita game will end on July 31 after six seasons and over two years of service. Why? Because Sega’s focus now is Chain Chronicle V, a PlayStation Vita version of their popular smartphone game.
SEGA have announced the new collaboration card sets for the Samurai & Dragons Vita game.
Samurai & Dragons is like Sega’s Puzzle & Dragons. While the gameplay is different, their Vita version of Kingdom Conquest keeps adding characters from different games.
Wait, so they are just cards? And here I was foolishly thinking it was something else...
ahh it's a card game ?
o well anything valkyria related is good news.
I think it would be better if they revive/reboot/localize Sakura Taisen and localize/continue Valkyrai Chronicles.
I want a remake of the Shining Force series and use the Valkyria Chronicles battle system. But knowing Sega, that's just a dream =/
