the radar feel so out of place , should be a mini map of the land scape or what not imo

Taislin3579d ago

There will be a mini map, this is confirmed, probably missing here because the devs wanted to have a more cinematic demo, or maybe because they already know the area like the palm of their hands, as they should.

SuperBlur3579d ago

thank you for clearing that up , im not up to date with the game , watched the video without sound but thats the most glaring issue i could find , i was put off by the modern radar all the way through the video

ty tho

I'm not digging the art direction at all. Last gen graphics in a higher resolution with better lighting. Meh.. Gameplay, story and the scale of the world have me excited though.

Blacklash933579d ago (Edited 3579d ago )

What's wrong with the art direction? It's colorful, vibrant, and pretty detailed. Are you sure you're not talking about the technical side of the visuals?

Anyway, it looks far better than anything in the series to date. Certainly not the best, but pretty good overall. Thank goodness they moved to a modern game engine.

Hanuman3578d ago

I favor a more realistic look, like in The Witcher 3.

Evilsnuggle3579d ago (Edited 3579d ago )

The graphic look great to me can't wait to play this game. If you do like RPG then more COD for you. I love RPG and this game looks great and the witcher 3 also.

Gr1mmyshadows3579d ago

This game looks so beautiful. Can not wait to have this

kizzle323579d ago

I think that graphically it looks VERY impressive! I am not sure why anyone would think otherwise?

Kinger89383579d ago (Edited 3579d ago )

Its decent but when you look at witcher 3, it makes me wish this was next gen only too

kizzle323579d ago

Yes no doubt, if this were developed for PS4/PC/XONE only we would probably get a little more visual fidelity out of it but, how much? With different engines/devs come different levels of technical expertise.

I do think Witcher 3's world looks amazing and it sets the bar high though for sure.

Kinger89383578d ago

Indeed, tbh im a bit bias towards the witcher franchise over dragon age, currently reading the books while i wait for feb! :(

Will look into dragon age more leading up to release, i like what the first one did

Dragon Age: Inquisition Retro Review – A Nostalgic Leap Short Of Legendary

Dragon Age: Inquisition, developed by BioWare, is the third installment in the cherished Dragon Age series. It represents a major evolution from its predecessor, Dragon Age II, incorporating elements that were well-loved in the original Dragon Age: Origins but also introducing new features that stand on their own. While Inquisition improves upon Dragon Age II in many respects, it falls short of the exceptional standards set by Origins.

The quality of these free games has been awesome. Before anyone says they are not free I was already giving Amazon $6 a month for prime shipping and video this isn't why I pay for my subscription

Teflon02909d ago

Still technically paying for it, even if it wasn't your intent. They've been giving out games with Twitch prime, they just changed the name. It's the same sub as that was. If you weren't aware, great. But you're paying for it.

That being said, I don't personally care. For me as long as you're willing to pay that for 1 service and get more. I personally take it as free. Like prime video, music though the prime version is trash, and all the Twitch benefits are all free to me because I didn't care about those when I got it. Just comes with it.

Only noted because that's technically wrong as a defense to that argument, whether I'm on yourside with the initial statement lol

mkis007909d ago

It's free to anyone who has already been paying. IDK why people need to split hairs.

TinkerNation910d ago

How does Prime Gaming work? Do you keep the games, or is it only as long as you have Prime?

Germaximus909d ago

lol Nice distraction from how they're now charging people to increase viewership. It's "just an option." /wink lol
