Destiny: The Dark Below, despite being a solid collection of new content, lacks the heart and soul that other expansions from similar games have.
Destiny has made over $160 million in MTX revenue, and these numbers only account the data from late 2017 to early 2019.
That's extremely low for microtransactions, especially for a game that's essentially designed around it
For as much as ppl complain how much they hate microtransactions, they sure don’t act like it. No wonder they aren’t going anywhere.
In Episode 1 of Spot On, a new weekly news show, Gamespot talks about the dangers of chasing a trend.
Playing Destiny 1 on PC has been something fans have been requesting for years. It looks like Destiny 1 is now playable on PC via the RPCS3 emulator.
true that
I cant go to n4g without having an article about how "bad" Destiny is. Haters cant get passed the fact that Destiny is a good game, not a great one, but people still like and they still playing it in a daily basis. I guess everything that is popular must have a good amount of haters, including videogames.
On topic. I've enjoyed the dlc content, but it does have its flaws. At the end I ended up wanting more, but thats usually a good sign. In the passed 3 days I've put in around 12 hours trying to complete the bounties, playing crucible in the new maps, and passing the weekly and nightfall with all three of my guardians. That is more time than most other 60 dollar games will se from me.
Overpriced. Should've been $15 at the MOST.
If this is an expansion...a Snickers bar is a protein bar.
I've only played iron banner in the last month and a half. After 1 hour with the new content, I turned it off. I can't subject myself to the same missions over and over, just to level up new weapon/armor. Once my new gear is leveled then what? Doing the same raid over for better gear, but then what? Yeah, now I'm fully leveled with the best gear so I can run the raid a whole hour faster.
