I'm kind of okay with the game being so similar to Far Cry 3. I had such a good time with the game it doesn't really matter to me.

I don't know why anyone plays anything Ubisoft makes. Every game is basically the same open-world trash.

LucasRuinedChildhood3544d ago

I honestly think you have problems. You once said that you were surprised this game is so good, now you're saying its 'open-world trash'. Additionally, at one stage you also said that Halo 2 is overrated and can't understand why people like the series at all, and proceeded to say ''Call of Duty is where its at''. You then later said Cod is one of the worst franchises ever. Maybe you should see a psychiatrist.

Yea, I don't really understand what tastas21 is talking about half the time... they always seem to contradict themselves too.

Get a life. Wut do u do track me like the fbi? lololol

I guess if you didn't like Far Cry 3 you're not going to like this one... I don't really see how all Ubisoft games are the same though.

Hmm, they are similar to me. I've only played the AC series, Far Cry 3, and Watch Dogs, but if I were ignorant to who the developer was for the last two I would be able to guess it I think. There games have various towers on the map that reveal things on it, they have similar crafting systems, and they just have Ubisoft feel to them. Not to say their bad, but there games are similar to one another, definitely not the same though.

Played and enjoyed Far Cry, Far Cry 3 and 4 campaigns .

4 wasn’t so bad

Pagan Min was pretty entertaining

Skuletor42d ago

Yeah, 4 was good, was hard choosing which Golden Dawn member to side with, when they were both pieces of sh!t.
I've beaten all the main entries except 2 and 6, ended up uninstalling 6 to download something else instead.

I'd love a far cry pack with the original PC game (not the half assed port on ps360) instincts, predator even a port of far cry 2 to modern consoles back when these games had their own identity and weren't far cry 3 cut and pastel

Demetrius42d ago

Still one of my most favorite franchises along with assassins creed

Same here, I don't know why these games get so much hate. I've thoroughly enjoyed every single one of them, with only a couple of exceptions. I wish they'd hurry up and announce Far Cry 7. The only thing I'm concerned about is the rumoured time limit.

I would put 5 above 6 but agree with the other ratings. Though 6 has more refined gameplay compared to 5 it's lack of a compelling story really does hurt it imo but if you are a gameplay fiend and don't really care about story it makes sense.
