Katie from Gamerscore Whores writes"Konami have shown clearly in their PES 2017 demo that they have pushed their football game experience to new echelons this year."
Like all great photographs, the covers of the FIFA and Pro Evolution Soccer video games capture a moment in time. But which ones have been best?
Some of the best games to play are soccer (football, for our non-American friends). When you're looking for one of the best video games for team sports, and multiplayer play, look no further than the soccer game genre. The world of soccer video games is dominated by two heavy hitters: FIFA and PES (Pro Evolution Soccer). These two game developers keep pushing each other to have better characterization, crisper graphics, and a stronger gameplay engine. As a result, the real winner is the gamer. Let's look at both and see which is best.
PES 2018 Beta has finally kicked off and thanks to that we can see how the newest release in Pro Evolution Soccer series will look this year. Let’s compare it to previous game and check what kind of improvement we can expect.
Note: Both games are running on PS4 Pro with Boost Mode enabled.
Why is boost mode enabled? PES 17 had a Pro patch ages ago and am pretty sure the beta also has Pro features. But anyhow am loving the new passing system. Has been funny learning it while also watching the other player trying to get the hang of it.
OMG. This is BS. The AI is maybe better than FIFA, but the animations totally suck. Shortcuts left and right. Players slide in the 2016! Really? The physics is on the level of Fifa 13. It just is an arcade game vs. Fifa. I still don't like the UI. Konami is cloning last years Fifa again but instead of pushing ahead, they are another year behind. Go get Fifa 13 and compare this. That is exactly how this plays. The point is, physical based animation does not allow ball control like in that game. I just played myClub/PES2016...this here looks the same.
