Which Developer Can Redeem Superman After A String Of Terrible Games?

Forbes: Superman is getting some wind back in his sails after an admittedly excellent new Batman V. Superman trailer debuted at Comic Con this past week. Though Man of Steel was the spark that set a thousand fanboy fires over its many missteps, there are few who aren’t excited to see him return and take on Batman in what’s considered to be the official launch of the DC Cinematic Universe.

And yet, there’s still one area where Superman is woefully underrepresented: video games.

It's needed. Batman has always had decent games but the Arkham Knight series blew it out of the water!

Maybe the damage was done enough in 1999!!

You never know maybe it will come about with the hype of the movies.

Rockstar needs to make it. With that beautiful open world they can create situations where you hear a robbery taking place or someone in danger and your job is to fly there as quick as possible and save them.

They can also make sure kryptonite has been mass produced into weaponry so you have a few henchmen with dangerous weapons to worry about and not just super powered beings.

Give Atlus another shot.. We need some next gen flying through rings!

Platinum!

Hmmm Sucker Punch would be very cool, heck even Insomniac would be pretty awesome in making a new Superman game.

WildArmed3206d ago

Ohhh, suckerpunch is actually a great idea.

They do love their superpowers!

Dark_king3206d ago

Have to say the guys behind DCUO could probably pull off a good superman game.

2pacalypsenow3206d ago

Rocksteady if they make it anything like The Arkham Series it would be good

WildArmed3206d ago

I hope not!

The fighting style for arkham series has really become stale! I haven't had the chance to play knight, but between City and Origins, the game really needs something fresh to bring it back to life.

I hope AK is more refreshing than it's predecessors.

EKWB reportedly plagued with financial disarray many gaming pc's left without parts

EK Cooling allegedly has slipped itself into a hot soup of seemingly endless financial woes, where it has not paid its staff, suppliers, and contractors for many months as the company is facing liquidity problems and a surplus of inventory left unsold, stuck in the warehouse for a more extended period. Gamers Nexus investigated these claims made by former and current personnel, where he found trails of unpaid bills lasting as long as three to four months and unpaid raises that accumulated for almost a year.

EK Water Blocks has two entities—a Slovenian-based headquarters and a US-based subsidiary, EK Cooling Solutions. Steve narrated the series of events in detail, stating that the company was reportedly irresponsible and negligent regarding payment. Consequently, partners and employees are forced to share the burden of alleged mismanagement. It all begins with its extensive range of products, leading to a surplus of goods. EK has over 230 water blocks, 40 liquid cooling kits, 85 reservoirs, 40 pumps, 73 radiators, and 212 miscellaneous accessories.

Yes this is not about video games directly but indirectly this will impact the pc gaming/workstation space hard.

This company is massive one of two in the water cool space so if it goes poof then thousands out there have no spare parts or half built computers.

SO yeah i know not about a video game but think of it as amd leaving the pc space but this is ekwb that could be leaving water cooling in the pc space

Jayz2cents a supporter of there products also has issues

As someone that has built a watercooling rig. EK is big, but there's so many numerous watercooling part companies out there. EK's stuff isn't exactly amazing quality for the price compared to others either, it's just ok. Much like Corsair. The impact would be negligible long term. For perspective the majority of my parts are XSPC, at most I use EK for my gpu waterblocks and fittings. Both easily replaceable.
