This is a huge talking point in the console wars. Everyone wants their console to have the better exclusive so that they can experience it, and so other people will flock to their console, improving sales figures. Until Bloodborne released we hadn't seen any huge exclusives from this console generation and we were due some big ones. This years going to be great for console gaming, whichever console you chose.
The Souls-like genre remains popular, along with FromSoftware's classics there are many contenders. But which are the best Souls-like games?
Hmm... In my opinion, the 7 best are the 6 made by FromSoftware (DeS, DS1, DS2, DS3, BB and ER), then Lies of P. But each to their own.
Saad from eXputer: "Almost a decade later, it's time to take the nostalgia goggles off and accept that Bloodborne has long been surpassed by its successors."
Yes, yes it does. It’s still a great game. Elden Ring isn’t better just different and a bit easier . I like that you have to be aggressive but smart in Bloodborne
"Sony is missing out on a hugely profitable opportunity by ignoring fan demands for a Bloodborne remaster and PC port," says Ahmed from eXputer.
Bloodborne came out on the PS4. It is owned by From Software. What missed opportunity? I am sure the people at From Software know what they are doing. Especially since they are hiring devs instead of laying them off.
Maybe do an article about that instead of writing a hit piece on them acting like they don't know how to run their business.
It will be a launch title on PS6 just like the remake of Demon's Souls for PS5 launch
Halo 5 will almost definitely sell more. Though, with each Halo iteration, I seem to be losing interest in it more and more unfortunately. If I had to choose between them I'd pick Bloodborne every time. It was such an enthralling and addicting experience, not to mention the story behind it all which was just insane. I'm not sure anything will top Bloodborne for me, for quite some time.
Kinda silly question, if they really mean "bigger," than I would say it is pretty safe to bet on Halo. However, larger sales mean very little as each person prefers different things, so mass appeal may not mean you will like a game personally. As for which game is better it is completely relative to the player, so this whole article is kind of useless, especially considering that it is comparing a game that is out, that people have played, to game that isn't.
Halo 5.
Marketing dollars are already being spent on Halo - I have seen a ton of commercials already on TV for it.
These games have nothing in common
Blodborne is a new IP, Halo is a well established franchise and most XB1 owners will buy it
Halo in sales, but Bloodborne will have better acclaim on metacritic.
