Ok, it's been one hour and I'm the first to comment yet I have sat here and watched this story, that no one has commented on, gain heat.

Abriael how do you do it? I don't submit but I'm still curious. I mean I just don't see how more relevant news or stories don't gain heat. What is your secret?

FITgamer3471d ago (Edited 3471d ago )

Comments don't generate heat. When you click "Read Full Story" or "Watch Video" the heat goes up. An article could have 100 comments and only be at 100 degrees if no one is reading the article.

the game for some reason does not convince me... the battle looks so cheap and bad made (you can tell me that i m looking only one aspect ..but dont be hypocrites, we all know that s the real core of such types of games) , doesnt give you any feeling that you re really hitting your enemies or engaging in violent battle. You just see the characters flailing their hands and making some absurd flashing animations to show that fighting and the damage is just numbers ...Has any in Bioware ever played Dragon dogma or Demons Souls or Monster Hunter??? i think not ...still the western developers have a lot of things to learn in gaming

LightofDarkness3470d ago (Edited 3470d ago )

This is more of a CRPG, like Star Wars KOTOR, Baldurs Gate and such. Its roots are still heavily D&D inspired. This is not an action RPG. The combat in this game is much more strategic and deep than the games you mentioned, and the numbers and status flashes are very important because of that. If you can't understand or enjoy that, these games are not for you.

breakpad3470d ago (Edited 3470d ago )

yes i know also the games you r mentioning and their gameplay-system mechanics but you understand that this is 8th generation of gaming and all these systems and tactics have been implemented very successfully (even from Diablo 1 era) in real time..so i dont call the lazyness of Bioware different oldschool and deep approach..they just dont how to make them...and also your re saying that MonnHun or DemonSouls is not as strategic or deep as the these games- i completely disagree, are far more complex in strategy and tactics but are so well made that these elements are integrated in the real time controls and seem like another action title which are far from it

This looks fun to explore but I don't trust them so I'll either wait or only preorder at a place that lets me return the game unopened for a full refund before 30 days or longer. I'll just play GTA etc and wait to see how it turns out.

AgentSmithPS43471d ago

Walmart appears to let you return unopened games within 90 days. If the preorder bonus is good enough I might do that, but I wonder if it has to be used by a certain date to get the extras. Anyone have a better idea or place to get it from?

MrCherry3470d ago

Gamestop open or not hold onto recpit and take game back in 30 days and say I like my $ back, may ask you why, you dont have to say (unless its broke) I do that after a week of playing if the story sucks or ext.

Meltic3470d ago (Edited 3470d ago )

loading screen when open a door cmon ??? And i saw pop ups when she talked to the soldier . Im very picky beacuse this is next gen...

Gr1mmyshadows3470d ago

"Im very picky beacuse this is current gen..."

Fixed it for you

gman_moose3470d ago

A cutscene was loading when the door opened- that's why it took a while. But regardless, the game is huge with an open world... there will be some loading screens. I found it pretty reasonable, but it was a PC build so it may be slower on consoles

Dragon Age: Inquisition Retro Review – A Nostalgic Leap Short Of Legendary

Dragon Age: Inquisition, developed by BioWare, is the third installment in the cherished Dragon Age series. It represents a major evolution from its predecessor, Dragon Age II, incorporating elements that were well-loved in the original Dragon Age: Origins but also introducing new features that stand on their own. While Inquisition improves upon Dragon Age II in many respects, it falls short of the exceptional standards set by Origins.

The quality of these free games has been awesome. Before anyone says they are not free I was already giving Amazon $6 a month for prime shipping and video this isn't why I pay for my subscription

Teflon02910d ago

Still technically paying for it, even if it wasn't your intent. They've been giving out games with Twitch prime, they just changed the name. It's the same sub as that was. If you weren't aware, great. But you're paying for it.

That being said, I don't personally care. For me as long as you're willing to pay that for 1 service and get more. I personally take it as free. Like prime video, music though the prime version is trash, and all the Twitch benefits are all free to me because I didn't care about those when I got it. Just comes with it.

Only noted because that's technically wrong as a defense to that argument, whether I'm on yourside with the initial statement lol

mkis007910d ago

It's free to anyone who has already been paying. IDK why people need to split hairs.

TinkerNation910d ago

How does Prime Gaming work? Do you keep the games, or is it only as long as you have Prime?

Germaximus910d ago

lol Nice distraction from how they're now charging people to increase viewership. It's "just an option." /wink lol
