Sony's H1Z1 - A new challenger to DayZ's crown?

THEORY:

* These Day Z guys take so long to make the "final version" of the game, that it gave studios like Sony time to put a team together and create their own version of the game but built by a team of experienced Developers with more money to spend/use, & more support initially.

Planetside 2 isnt Pay2win , Dc universe isnt...its usually for costumization options and weapons.

@nekroo91 that is pay to win, in this kinda of game, if you can buy weapons and customizations in this type of game it gives you that more of an advantage and if you've played DayZ it can be a big one. Also whats the point of this game if you keep your stuff when you die, theres no penalty, tension or real sense of survival, like in DayZ if you don't have a perm-death. Im excited for the game but it being F2P has me a bit skeptical.

I'm encouraged by the work SOE have done with PlanetSide 2. I was initially incredibly sceptical of that game, and got in and loved it. Didn't pay a penny for several months and then dropped a few quid for a few extra credits. They did a great job of balancing PS2 out, so I'm hopeful that this'll be a similar sort of story.

Well Dayz is just a walking simulator, and a boring one at that. This game looks better, has better mechanics and has more people playing. I know which is better already!

Faster zombies.
More zombie types and models.

Those are just the features we know about. I can't wait to find out what else is coming. I love Day Z and Rust, but I am so excited for this one!

I hope the zombies are not faster..The zombies in DayZ already out run you now. If these zombies are faster, the game will be unplayable unless you start out with firearms from the start.

edit: unless they turned the speed back down, I have not played in a few weeks.

Maybe they're the same speed. I don't know. They seemed faster in the video I watched. I'm ok with zombies being faster than me, as long as they don't all have the same AI. I want them to be unpredictable.

Bohemia should be sacking Rocket and cracking on with developing DayZ standalone. They had a massive head start but its been lost by Rocket disappearing off to climb a mountain or wasting time over minor details like clothing when off-shoots of the original mod version of DayZ like Epoch have shown where DayZ could be right now.
