When my 360 RROD for the third time, I took it to a guy in my hometown instead of microsoft again. He repaired it and compared to microsoft, never had another RROD after. I had a near launch 360, so maybe that's a big reason why it broke often.
some of my friends got the 360 slim and never had any problems with it as of now.
My PS3 had a YLOD after 5 years of constant play. Bluray, netflix, movie in HDD, gaming, music unlimited in parties... well I used i...
@GamerGuy153
This!
I don't care if millions of gamers see my gaming videos (my personal choice, not talking for the great community out there streaming on twitch). What I want is to be able to share it with my friends. when I pull off some crazy skills (or lucky most of the time!) in a game, I love to be able to see it again with friends. Same for them with me.
I'm personaly buying a vita this october for tearaway AND to boot it up in november with my already preordered PS4!
I didn't want a vita at first, but then I saw Tearaway, killzone mercenaries, Dragon's Crown and Freedom Wars, just those 4 games will keep me plenty occupied for a while. And this isn't even counting the PS plus vita games that I registered on as downloaded with my ps3 each month there was new free content, so a big plus there.

battlefield graphics?
the gameplay, the recoil and feel of the guns, the satisfaction when you get someone from far away headshot with your sniper, the no quick scoping.... this game is so different in so many ways. true that I didn't point that out in my first comment though.
yeah COD probably won't be on decline right away, I forgot that there's people that doesn't know how to play something else than run-randomly and shoot.
...
league of legends do it properly, by giving you many cosmetic and a small early advantage with runes, but that's it
I'm not trying to defend cod, but I'm almost 100% sure the reason were getting the same freaking engine again is because activision, or should I say kotick, wants to be on this gen PLUS next gen at the same time to lock in more income. Call of duty will go on decline if they keep it like this all the time, since the original dev behind the concept left 3 games ago.... sorry 4 with ghost.
I'm guessing they're going to change engine next title after ghost, but b...
I played it not so long ago on an actual snes! Happy to see this feature in the game. Will surely try it out with my friends who used to play with me back in the days.
the auction house is the main problem on PC. didn't need one in the first place. I tried not using it, but when all your friends are using it and got amazing build when your lagging behind, well you don't really have a choice to keep up.
@ Zeal0us
well, having nes, snes and n64 games on my 3ds would be perfect, no need for other mobile platform.
I don't see Nintendo losing the handheld gaming market anytime soon, but I got to admit the Wii U isn't doing very well.
with a new console they can
1. get a better and bigger library than competitors (PS2 VS xbox/gamecube ; Snes VS Genesis ; DS VS PSP)
2. Innovate with a brand new experience (Example would be ...
win next gen, obviously no, but having it on my ps4 would surely make me play more of it. Hell, with the rumor talk about mouse and kb support for bf4, why not have it for the ps4 also? With all the free games sony are adding to their lineup, wouldn't surprise me.
Free game? Can play with friends? Sounds nice to me.
@n4rc
so by your standards, call of duty is the best game ever made in gaming history, since the game had a big budget and the sales were high.
the problem with comparing PC vs any console is that there`s way more features(on PC), but at a higher price for the initial hardware. it`s like comparing a budget PC build vs a high performance PC build.
Well add the camera if you want, its still only a grand total of 460 $ which is less than the x1 plus not mandatory.
I just want the official mod api at this point. Yes, the devs are adding nice features, but they cant beat the massive community that are creating mods right now.
Having the modding api complete, I'm hoping for an easier way to share those mods without any problems
Sony actually helped every xbox one consumers, so Xbox owners should thank sony for letting them share their games without any restrictions.
Plus, Microsoft wanted to help dev with this DRM policy, but you could share, ONLINE, with 10 friends..... how is this helping the Devs?!?!?!?!?
yes RROD was free, but most of my friends got tired of sending it the second or third time it broke. so they bought a new one.
me, sent it to microsoft twice, broke 3 times, third time brang it to a dude in my city who repaired it and it never ever again failed after this.
@lord_sloth
As a fellow canadian myself, this is just ridiculous. How many death threats have I received online when playing cod, halo ,csgo, etc.
I didn't take any of them seriously because they just say whatever comes to their mind, but doesn't really mean it.
I dont know who this woman is, but common sense isn't something she has.
what do you believe?
the PS4 Devkit was still not finalized and I'm sure this tech demo wasn't polished as well as a complete product. We saw some hiccups here and there on certain games at E3, but the footage was awesome for a early reveal.
We've been stuck with the same old hardware for 7 years, so seeing a big gap between the two gen is not that surprising to me.
running code on devkit can be rough at the beginning. at least it ran on the actual hardware...
well, next-gen is pretty much better hardware. it's like saying, let's go next gen with a 10 times better 3d camera, but the same old hardware. that's not next gen. I"m buying an upgrade, that's pretty much it. Same thing for my gaming PC.
the cloud computing Microsoft is talking about, that's a good example, but again should not be forced to use it to be able to play the game. you can add twice the features, but there's a market for each of them ...
well the 360 was released 1 year prior to PS3 release....
1 year advance is a lot of time
