Excellently written review. I am very excited to finally dive into this one, and the review only has me more pumped. I enjoyed Reach but it didn't grab me like previous Halo games did. Sounds like this one may rejuvenate my love of the franchise.
I'm sorry to hear that. I've heard many people have experienced bugs that make for a frustrating experience. For better or worse, my game time was relatively free of these issues, so though they are out there I felt I had to go based on how I played.

While I may not be the target demographic for this game, it definitely looks like it offers enough for all kinds of players. If I find a little extra cash for some figures, I may just have to grab this one.
Not a fighting fan outside of Super Smash Bros. either, but this seems to be going for a strong balance of accessibility, fan service and deep enough mechanics to please people more into the genre than myself. Great to hear more about it.
Sad to hear about the story faults of the title, but definitely curious enough by the gameplay that I am looking forward to picking it up.

Well first of all thank you for the comment on the article, always appreciate someone reading my work, but I think if you read my work a little more closely you'll find my problem with the Vita is slightly different than what you say. I do address the price drop concern I have and say it can be brushed aside because of the Cross Buy functionality. I may not mention the bundles but I am well aware of them and that is why I do not harp too much on the price, so I'm sorry if you though...
Cannot wait to get my hands on this game. War for Cybertron was great and from the sound of the demo this is looking even better. Plus Dinobots, cannot go wrong with a little Grimlock.

Very glad to hear about all the great buzz surrounding the series. It really took me by surprise, and while it may not end up as my personal GotY, I think it easily deserves all the discussion and praise it has and will (hopefully) continue to receive in the coming weeks.
