I don't mind a bit of honest criticism from people every now and then but developers really need to learn to let their product do the talking. We decide if one game is better than the other, and going around badmouthing other games just isn't too professional.
I'd rather play WoW than watch the next Iron Man movie because the first one was crap...Invite me to a good movie on the other hand and I'm out of the house!
Love WoW, am a little addicted. But if people watch TV for hours a day..I'm going to not watch TV but play WoW instead.
Nothing is going to kill the Wii, it's too successful. The only thing Sony and Microsoft wil be able to do is take a small share of the market. And in order to have any success at all they're going to need a pretty heavy amount of advertising I'd imagine.
I have a Wii and I don't particularly want Move. Going to need more than better graphics to make me want more motion sensing crap.
Who knows though, in a year or two a few games that use Move might interest me. Chances are...nothingo n the Wii will. :)
It wouldn't surprise me if Sony 'beat' Microsoft with sales of current gen consoles. Personally however I'd like to own the console with the most good games rather than the console that sold the most and that is entirely subjective. To me, chances are it will be the PS3, but the talk of numbers is ridiculous. Both are selling respectable amounts, and if one sells 5 million more than the other, who cares.

The only game Naughty Dog have created that I haven't enjoyed a huge amount was Jak X, it felt like something to just shove out whilst we were waiting for the PS3. It was alright, but not what I expected and nothing special (unlike CTR which, though a huge Mario Kart rip-off was amazing).
I like Uncharted a lot but Jak and Daxter I will always love more, I think, and would love a PS3 version. The first Jak game was my favourite and the 2nd and 3rd just didn't live up. Action adventur...

I'd also agree with the poster above that with 3 expansions, it will be intimidating for new players to come in. Might as well sell all the content in one, less intimidating if there was just one disc, one thing to buy. And lets face it, if you actually do get into WOW...there's...
I love the story of Arthas. Having only got into WoW with WotLK and having played Warcraft 3 because of the lore surrounding Arthas it's sad to see the story over. I don't think I'll get as interested in any other lore to be honest. However, as someone said above, so many WoW fans won't care about the lore so it's not a problem. Similarly, so many fans that will never finish the story for themselves (by defeating the Lich King) shouldn't be too put off either.

Harvest Moon may not be massive but it's pretty well known, and definitely has more than a few sales. It has a lot of games.
Farming Sims won't be the future of games, though with the casual market no doubt increasing, game like Harvest Moon could sell more. I like Harvest Moon myself, it is nice and relaxing, though certainly wouldn't buy every game in the series.

That will only ever be good if loads of layers get to the level cap and get their epic equipment first. I'd be great with it then. If however I'm levelling whilst it happens, they've got a cancelled subscription. I could justify paying for a subscription. I couldn't justify micro transactions.

I wouldn't want that. £9 a month may be a fair amount, but at least I'm paying for a game subscription. I'd much rather pay for a subscription to a game than pay for micro-transactions. It's pretty obvious that people who pay the most would get the best stuff, and I'm not the type of person who would pay real money for a mount or a good sword. I couldn't bring myself to pay for in game items, though can justify paying a subscription for such a good game. :-)

I really like OXGCN. Nice for a website that focuses on one console to recognise that good games are on other consoles as well. I think if all sites did this, then there would be a lot less fanboyism.

Good for them, I hope the action game is good. But I wish they'd shut up for a bit about it because we don't even know if it will be good yet. All their bragging is showing is they care more about the name of the game than how it's actually going to play. I'd rather they focus on just getting good...

They have MGS by name. Considering the gameplay could be a huge departure from the regular MGS gameplay, i'd wait for the game to be released before bragging. I hope it is good, but it may just be MGS by name and not by gameplay.
Microsoft has done a good job this gen, I just wish they'd shut up from time to time.
Solid has nothing to do with Solid Snake.
Otherwise it wouldn't be MGS: Portable Ops, or MGS2 or MGS3. As far as I am aware the MGS was "Meme, Gene, Scene" and the Solid was to do with the transition from 2D to 3D.
I don't think I have read a stupider article in some time, how the hell do things like this get accepted? There is no reason that EA would give exclusive content just because Activision are. They will give the PS3 extra content because Sony will offer them a bonus of some sort no doubt. Yeah, EA could choose not to develop for the 360 if it wanted but there would be no viable reason for that to happen.
