This has become a cliche, a "journalist" from a unknown website bashes on something good to get hits...
"Makes me wonder what a solution to such a problem would be."
Marketing my friend, Sony is smart enough to market the hell out ot the PS4 but dumb enough to not market the PSV even though its been profitable since day 1.
Excuse my ignorance but considering that people had to buy it how can that be considered a gift?
I thought they said this game was going to be a 10 years game but it seems that they were talking about the IP and not the game itself huh?
So they're comedians now too?
I disagree, this is political and an attack to the freedom. Remember that GTA 5 was being sold in the store until this group of people pushed their agenda.
Now, you could say that this isn't political but don't look at it as if all this is just about a video game because its not, this is about pushing a totalitarian posture to the society.
If this happened with Target and GTA V it could happen with anything else tomorrow, think about it, look at the b...
Same goes for the 3DS with a bunch of Mario rehashes, Zelda rehashes and Pokemon rehashes.
Not really, Crash Bandicoot on Vita would indeed blow my mind.
Does anyone still care about this game anymore?
Did you actually read the sources that you posted? Where does it says that 250 million people belong to the middle class? Actually they agree with my argument.
I'll quote:
->Source #1:
"The middle class currently numbers some 50 million people"
->Source #2:
"While there is no official definition of the middle class,
estimates range from 30 million to approximately 300 mi...
Oh GamingBolt, I don't trust on any of your graphics comparisons anymore.
250 million people in 2007? And what are your sources exactly?
By 2010, around 50 million people belonged to the middle class thats less than 5% of the current Indian population, and its estimated to reach around 200 million in 2020.
Are you really trying to fool someone with fake numbers in 2014? Like seriously?
I agree that Sony played a better card, but again its not like Microsoft is losing anything in such decadent market.
Well, its not like one of the countries with the highest poverty rate in the world has that much of a importance. Not even 10% of the Indian population can afford a $400 console.
Looks meh.
Only Japan still enjoy of such privilege.
I disagree, we got Freedom Wars, Hatsune Miku PDF 2nd, Tales of Hearts R and Samurai Warriors 4 to name a few.
I insist, the PSV has a massive library of great games what it really needs right now is GOOD marketing.
It has over 800 games to the date, i'd rather them to advertise the handheld than get more bad ports.
@masa2009 " the business model of game making is a precarious one."
No sir, THEIR business model is a precarious one. Ubisoft made $102m in 2012 and $133m in 2013 in Net Profits and they lost $75m in 2014, is anyone surprised?
Now, according to Ubisoft's 2014 annual report the company has a capital of $8 billions. AC Unity has sold at least 1.3 million units, even if they refunded to 75% of the people who bought the game they would only lose $58...
Do you really think that a DLC is a fair compensation? Thats not enough IMO, they knew what was the state of the game when they released it, not to count the review embargo. The DLC they're giving for free didn't cost them no even 1/10 of the actual game.
So what would I call a fair compensation? Refund everyone who wants their money back (I know this might sound shocking to you but they won't go bankrupt or anything if they refund these copies), no more review em...

@kwandar First of all you as a gamer that I suppose you are should know better than anyone that reviews and scores mean nothing, there are a lot of mediocre games out there that have good scores and vice versa, with this i'm not saying that Nintendo games are mediocre or anything, I'd be delusional if i'd say that but what i'm trying to say is that reviews are subjective so ...
