u mad.
Waterboy, are you implying that a mid-range gaming PC, given the chance, couldn't run Uncharted 2, Killzone 2 or God of War 3?
There's no such thing as a 4980. Do you mean a 4890?
It's not just graphics that differentiate PC from console games.
It's easy to scale back the graphics settings on a PC game. It's a matter of turning off some shaders, lowering the LOD settings, lowering the texture resolution, etc. On consoles, they [developers] have extremely small memory budgets to work with. The PS3 only has 256 MB of system RAM, and 256 MB of VRAM for crying out loud. It's issues like this that force developers to drastically alter the ga...
My sub woofer provides all the force feedback I could ever want :)
@Legosz
That's a joke, right? Where did this 'study' come from? Most of the most popular PC games don't even have native controller support.
But there's already cross platform games where PC users can play with 360 users or PS3 users.
I don't think there are any games in which PS3 users can play with 360 users,
The CryEngine Sandbox is a lot more than a simple level manipulator like Forge. It's the full SDK that Crytek uses to make the actual game. You can't port development tools to consoles. That'd just be silly.
That's a pipe dream. The Sandbox editor requires a huge amount of RAM. Somewhere in the range of 4-8x more than the PS3 and 360 have.
Are you joking, or are you just that fucking stupid?
If you can't see the difference between 30 and 60 FPS, there's something wrong with you.
And I suppose you're one of the people that thinks KZ2 has awesome gameplay because if feels like you're moving through molasses, right?
What makes you think Valve are at all involved with Mircosoft?
Valve's an independant developer with EA as their publisher. I don't see any Microsoft in that equation.
I don't think Duke Nukem Forever was going to be on the PS3 in the first place.
That's because in a game like Crysis where it set the bar for graphics back in 2007, and still holds that today, it's hard not to talk about the graphics in a review.
It's a fantastic game. I really have no clue why it gets a bad rep for "having no gameplay".
If you want to know what actual gameplay is like watch some videos or something:

One of the great things about Crysis is that it was open to what ever style of gameplay you want. If you want to be a bullet absorbing tank man, go for...
Warhead's opening wasn't CG. It was a video, but it was ingame graphics. Anyone who's played Crysis or seen Crysis on the highest setting could tell you that. In fact, because it's a video, the supposed 'CG' opening looks worse than actual gameplay.
Stop trying so hard, Barragan.
There's no 360 beta.
Thing is, Valve addressed the L4D2 Boycott group and fixed pretty much every issue they had. The L4D2 boycott's pretty much non-existent now. The only reason there's still 35,000 people in that Steam group is because people forgot about it and didn't leave.
There's virtually no resistance against L4D2 right now and it releases in less that 5 hours.
It's more dynamic than most games out there. You can still break trees, chip away at concrete, pick up and throw just about any object you can find, kick cars around, etc.
