Studios? Don't know. Game series and MMOs which got worse the more EA focused attention upon or acquired them:
Ultima, Command and Conquer (Tiberium), Dead Space, Knights of the Old Republic, the Sims, Sim City, Dungeon Keeper, Battlefield, (Knights of) The Old Republic, Warhammer Online and Dragon Age. Not to mention undermining Brutal Legend.
Looks promising. Here's hoping it won't be another Fable III.
That was actually a quite fair review for someone who's not a fan of the franchise. The only part I didn't agree with was the comment about Hawx having surpassed it, as Rogue Leader at least had more noticeable differences between fighter craft and didn't arm half of them with gamebreaking All Aspect missiles.
... As much as I like that news, are you sure you replied to the right comment?
Would it be too much to hope they manage to completely destroy one another on a financial and business level?
I think there were better options than Doom 3 to put on that list but the rest were good choices. Nice to read an article from someone who sees Lords of Shadow as a decent title for a chance.
... and thus hourly Mortal Kombat tournaments became a vital part of boot camp.
Never thought i'd see the day when Fable 2 managed to outdo a modern Elder Scrolls game in some areas like raising a family.
First Final Fantasy XIII made me utterly apathetic to her and all characters barring Sazh. So no, learning Lightning's eventual doesn't interest me in the slightest.
While I think there should have been less Mass Effect names on that list, not to say they weren't memorable ones, it's nice to see someone took the older generation's titles into account when making it.
Seems like a lot of movie tie in game have been getting a lot better of late; this is probably just the latest example.
Hell. I'd not even heard about the heart attack.
Ah classic C&C. The music sticks with you 'till the day you die.
Well, it was a game designed for consoles mainly so it's to be expected.
It was only a matter of time I suppose.
Even if they had no problems with Lucasarts, Drew Karpyshyn would likely just get angry and write another Revan novel to retcon their game from the series. It was done once, it'd happen again.
Plus horrible plotting, terrible voice acting, bad dialogue, forced exposition and generally bad presentation.
That... actually sounds like it has some promise behind it. Even if it'll be a while before all the games are out i'd like to see if the developers can get this to work half as well as it sounds.
Not a fan of the art direction but the steampunk ships at least look good.
An interesting article, i'll have to keep my eye out for this console.
Yeah that sounds like the best elements to include, though I am surprised you included Dead Space as an example of good horror games.
