The difference between 4K and 1080p is significant (only something you experience in person) but considering that the first 60FPS @4K capable gpu is in the region of $600 (GTX 1080), 4K gaming on the next gen consoles in 2017 is questionable. To make Scorpio or Neo affordable they would have to use a GTX 980 or Fury X equivalent GPU, which depending on the game will give you reasonable FPS on medium settings. So much like this gen and the one before you can expect a lot of upscaling from AAA ...
This is a fantastic way to test the waters and see if there's still an audience for platforming games like Crash Bandicoot. Good on Sony; this way everyone wins.
Daaamn Sony bagged a big one right here and I couldn't be happier that a seasoned developer is making the game (how wrong the rumours were). From the trailer it would seem their treating the city like a character itself; an aspect previous developers failed to act on.
Such a shame the success of GTA Online has put them in this situation (for the gamers anyway). More than likely they've put all their resources into the next Red Dead but would be a nice surprise if single player DLC is announced at E3. Would be a shame to move onto GTA 6 without fully exploring Los Santos. So many stories and content can be made...
Don't know why Insomniac is so against a PC port. If piracy is such a problem to them they could always use Denuvo which is winning the war at the moment.
What a load of bull, long as the character is fully fleshed out, the narrative is interesting and most importantly the game is fun, the race of the protagonist shouldn't dismay fans from playing this sequel. Grow up or go home.
Lol completely forgot about that incident, so yes makes sense to leave out a PC port. Thankfully Arkham Knight is finally playable on PC. Better late than never i guess.
Interesting, it does look slightly upscaled and washed out in UE4 so not much of a remaster from looking at those screens. Guess I will have to judge it hands on.
How bizarre that they left out PC, considering its being remastered in UE4 it wouldn't be too difficult to release on Windows.
If the GTX 1080 can play Witcher 3 on ultra at 60fps 3440x1440 that would be the deciding factor for me.
Cool cant wait for the conference. Same HBM2 seems quite interesting. Really excited to see what AMD brings to the table, the 400 series is finally meant to be power efficient. As a owner of a R9 280 I must say I haven't experienced any of the stereotypes and the Crimson drivers haven't been bad. Also as of lately they have been punctual with driver support. If the GTX 1060 is a decent price might get that but at the same time wouldn't mind going back to AMD. Nonetheless great tim...
Should finally be able to play @ 3440x1440 60fps with a single gpu. Look forward to AMD Polaris reveal hopefully before E3.
If true that would be awesome really enjoyed the first two titles but Second Son didn't live up to the hype in my opinion.
I look forward to the official reveal and hope it has improved from a narrative perspective. Lets see if Ubisoft took some cues from Mr. Robot.

Supply and demand. UFC (or rather MMA) is more popular than Boxing these days.

Sounded like a novel idea on paper at first but I highly doubt it will happen now. Microsoft know there's a chance this can lead to hackers finding a way to play backup games.
@2pacalypsenow I was referring to the time it's taken for channels on set top boxes to broadcast in 1080p. It will be quite a while until they broadcast in 4K.
