Who is really going to be thinking about this when they get their hands on the game honestly?
You can say graphics don't matter until you see Uncharted with rgb full and super white output turned on.
Another good review.
"Give me 50million and I could run this game on 360." That is complete and utter bullsh!t. I guess If I gave you the cell processor that would help as well? Maybe I should give you the spu's too. lol. Do you know why Killzone 2 costs so much? Because Guerilla is using a proprietary engine built from the ground up to run the game. Gears 2 already had the Unreal engine established which is why it didn't cost as much. So it can't be done on the 360(at least in its current form) because...
I don't know why you are waiting on IGN's review mart. I can guarantee you that it won't get anything below a 9 (US side idk about UK).
Trust me when that inevitable 8 out of 10 hits they will break their necks just to get into the thread.
It can and it will.
Such a bold claim when the wii has consistently outsold both the ps3 and the 360. I would say its a possibility not a guarantee. When I look at the software lineup it really is hard to believe that the 360 will dominate 09. The author also contradicts himself in the article. (read below)
regarding pandora: "I won’t wait in breathless anticipation for this one, but it would be a nice addition to the multi-media future of NXE."
remember the hardcore: "T...
It's more cost effective to put a bunch of titles in one commercial but some titles need to have a little more limelight. Killzone 2 I think needs to be that one game that sony makes an individual commercial for. Not just a collage of 09 titles in one commercial.
I wasn't talking to you I was talking to Chrissy.
1. I guess the same can be applied to the 360's failure rate which I would assume would generate a tremendous amount of buyers remorse. Which would explain why so many xbox fanboys are quick to say that "this will fix it" when a new chipset revision is introduced to try and cure rrod.
2. MGS4 was a success, period. Nobody said it was suppose to feed 5000 with 5 loaves of braid and 10 fish. Installs is nothing new as pc games have been doing them for years. Home is stil...
What difference does it make? It came a heck of lot closer than those Fable 2 and Halo 3 trailers. I doubt any other developer could have come that close. It doesn't matter because I will be playing killzone 2 instead of crying about how it didn't live up to the E305 trailer.
1. Most sony fanboys defend titles because they feel that the titles receive unjust treatment. That's not buyers remorse that's calling journalists out on their bullsh!t and double standards.
2. MGS4 was a critical and commercial success and home is still a work in progress (hence the word beta).
3. Can I buy what crystal ball you are using regarding OF2's dominance when it is released?
I use to think these gaming journalists were flesh and blood. Now I'm more convinced that flesh and blood is wires and circuitry. They are undercover xboxfanboys with no sense of integrity. d#m shame. -_-
Why does Eurogamer's screenshots always look so bad?
I bought a ps3 because I owned the ps1, and ps2. Also because Sony imo has the best 1st party software.
It's the bitterness of Microsoft that's to blame. They will never get over losing to Sony winning last gen. 100 million units worth of a$$ whipping has to be a tough pill to swallow. They need hysterically constant re-assurance that they've "beat" Sony and they are the winners when in fact Nintendo is the one on top. All this boasting while disregarding the fact, (until proven cured by the jasper) that they have the worst h.r. of the 3 consoles. They will resort to every dirty trick...
Judging by everyone's comments the podcast must have been offensive.
Because it has substance, and i'll use an example. Take Dynasty Warriors and compare it to GOW. In Dynasty warriors you have the typical "bowling ball pin" feel to the enemies when you strike them. It's almost like slashing a piece of paper with a razor blade. In GOW every hit has a satisfying sense of contact to it. The same can be said about killzone. Everything has heavy nature to it from the recoil of weapons, to the character movement, the depth can only be experienced not desc...
I like Uncharted more but the Tomb Raider franchise still holds its own considering how old it is.
