I guess i'm set this gen with a gaming pc and a ps3. Honestly too, I think left 4 dead gets really old fast, hopefully the second isn't as mind numbing.

I love the playstation, but if thats really what it looks like i'm not buying it. It looks like crap, sony can do so much better then that junk in the pictures.

I absolutly know what i'm talking about, not from a developers standpoint, but a gamers. And you beiliving that the 360's gpu is dx11 compatible when it's not even 10 compatible is insane!!! It's in the hardware first, then software, you can't just patch that in.
@above- Then it doesn't hardly matter at all game wise if it's just a weak ass version of some features, why should anyone care? If Epic had to tone down the graphics because of the things they threw at geow2 graphics ...
I generally rely on the gpu creator to tell me what the gpu can and can't do, not the biased console maker. Besides none of what I read wowed me anyways, not like the cpu comparisons of the cell.

Cherry pie, anyone that says the 360 has a sphisticated gpu is living about 4 years in the past. And compared to the ps3's it isn't anything to write home about.... Both gpu's in each system run at the same speed. Shaders are what the 360 gpu has over the ps3, but the differences are very hard to make out visualy, and it's dx10 compatible but again I can't see a difference. Also if you go into ram, ps3 has faster ram powering the cpu that can be shared with the gpu, so the resources ARE there...
Infamous is an awesome game, but they could havedone better. I love the ps3 sony games, but this one didn't impress me like others have.
I think the game is very fun, it's one of those games they took more time on the gameplay then graphics and thats fine. I'm not saying the graphics are bad at all and I don't think it should be considered a negative thing from a reviewer, just not a positive thing. I know the ps3 has a failure rate just like every piece of hardware made, the 360 was a freak show of failure rates .... the "journalist" comparing the two is very wrong in doing so.

How many people do you know have gotten 3 or 4 360's that all rrod (even newer model 360's) and how many people do you know have ever bought more then one ps3 that has gotten the yellow lights? Sony has a normal failure rate on the ps3, microsoft has a far, far sub normal failure rate (even by console standards) that will haunt them.

drewsny- I agree that it's dumb to argue graphics at this point. But if you play killzone 2 on a 50 inch plasma versus gears of war 2, you will see a HUGE difference. I'm not a fanboy but I litterally have seen both played through on a 60 in plasma. There is nothing out there like killzone 2 and I would be suprised to see a game with such immersion in the near future. G.G. deserves serious credit for what they have done.

I built a gaming rig that cost 3,000 dollars for games like crysis, it was a crap game. First off when comparing enemy visuals and a.i. Crysis sucks so horribly bad it hurts me to watch. Second, the bugs! There are so many bugs in that game it's insane, I couldn't finish the game because of one. The gun graphics also suck.

But some mgs games did come out on the xbox, Sony always had the very best though... I am very glad mgs4 is staying with us.
