Jonathan Blow's The Witness is due to be a timed PS4 exclusive.

Now , I doubt we'd be hearing these comments from him if it was due to be a timed Xbox One exclusive. Then it would have been the 'brave' thing for him to make those comments.

All he's done here is try to increase his chances of getting total Sony exclusivity.

Now Super Mario Moonshine is a great idea. Could be like a companion piece to Luigis Mansion : Dark Moon.

Grabbed by the Conkers.

Sunshine. The original 'game' might as well be regarded as more of an extended tech demo without Miyamoto's full involvement in it. The levels were relatively boring. Only the hub world, perhaps Noki Bay, and the opening animations were particularly interesting. So Sunshine 2 could right those wrongs.

Even if the Kinect didn't massively appeal to you before I am sure that the Kinect 2 is their primary saviour in terms of trying to stand out against the PS4 with gamers.

It's called the One because you won't need anything else.

Any time you want to 'experience' the 'entertainment' of anything, say Naughty Dog's latest game, you just press the You Tube button and watch a Lets Play video of it.

Oh my God. They have completely jumped the shark in the gaming industry. They now want to be like Sky. They want to be what some greedy newspaper magnate would be if only he happened to have a few entertainment ideas up his sleeve as well.

It's like they've used the equation 'More American soccer moms and Steven Speilberg fans in the world than Heavy Rain fans = SUCCESS.'

It's like an episode of Eerie Indiana - they want a world of hermeti...

It might sound strong but I kind of hate Rockstar. Max Payne 3 was not quite Max Payne for a start. They just want to tell stories with gameplay secondary.

Their peak was arguably 2004-2006 - San Andreas, Manhunt, Bully.

Games are for playing and there are far more fun studios in this and probably next generation.

They should make a Kinect game called 'Ballmer's Wild'. In the game, scientists are unsure whether he is a misunderstood genius trying to access a plain of understanding above the feeble concerns of mere 'civilisation', an untameable beast or Reggie Fils Aime's long lost brother. Find the parts of the tranquiliser gun before it's too late! Will he access transcendental parts above even his own understanding thus unleashing hell or will he merely start taking names?...

But I don't like guns in platform games...

They're OK as a set piece or a one off level where you get a big gun but , no, you're never going to make the next Conker's Bad Fur Day if you've got a gun all the time as the answer to moving on.

On PS3, I'd much rather play Sly Cooper.

Rare must be due to announce an adventure game just to prove that they haven't had all that was important about them sucked out of them since 2008.

That would explain lower games sales but it should have resulted in even greater console sales if nothing else was involved!

10 million in 2 years (average 5 million per year) is probably a fairly decent amount. The Nintendo 64 managed little better of an average per year figure if you divide overall sales (33 million) by years on sale (6 essentially) giving an N64 average of 5.5 million consoles sold per year.

It probably wasn't not having enough console...

Jet Set Radio Future 2 on PS4 and next Xbox.

Bioshock Infinite episodes based around politics (with Saltonstall) and the lead up to World War 1.

Beyond Good and Evil 2.

Not anywhere near as much if you take out arcade/party games and RPGs though.

If you took those genres out of many other consoles line up you've still have the majority of that console's greatest games.

It may have taken several years but now that Jet Set Radio, House of the Dead are various other games are downloadable on current consoles, the only reason that I need to keep a Dreamcast (because I can personally do without Shenmue and Seaman even tho...

There is no way on earth that Uncharted 3 would be the last game in the series. The ending seemed so similar to Uncharted 2's that it might as well have said 'a sequel is necessary because this is surely not the ending you are looking for'.

After The Last Of Us is released I hope that Uncharted 4 is the sole concentration of the whole of Naughty Dog.

What I'd like to see:

Maneouvrable vehicles like the jetskis in the first gam...

Learnt and Learned (pronounced 'lernt' and 'lernd'

Or a similar kind of case:

Leant and Leaned (pronounced 'lent' and 'leend'.

They have all long existed in widely used English in England, just not American English it seems, and they are genuinely regarded as equally grammatically acceptable. Neither sounds more antiquated to our ears than the other.

If you are outside of UK, your concern at the use of 'learnt' might be entirely correct for your own American form of English.

But within the UK either 'learnt' or 'learned' are acceptable. Since 'learned' can have an alternative meaning of 'educated', I would suggest that it may be preferable for people in England to use 'learnt'when it CAN be and to use 'learned' for all other circumstances.

The PS1 was necessary to introduce the likes of Resident Evil to a wide market and to wake Nintendo from a lull about the types of games that console gamers might like to play.

The PS2 had a huge range of games , partly thanks to unspectacular enough sales success of some its rivals meaning that some exclusives did still come its way. So it ended up getting Resident Evil 4, Viewtfiul Joe. It even ended up getting Outun 2 a few later when it was revamped as Outrun 2 2006 : Coa...

Yes- a port of Sonic Adventure 2. Although the Dreamcast original looks no worse.

And a Sega studio made F Zero GX.

3996d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

Is Sonic really the way to do it? Nintendo have previously had their own Sonic- exclusive games anyway. It's just that they coincided around the time of a different Sonic game on the Xbox360/PS3.

Now, making Jet Set Radio Future 2 - and exclusive - would really get Sega fans interested in the WiiU.
