It's going to rape the frame rate of most games. Games that have to run at 30 FPS like KZ2 will lose almost 50% of it's framerate. The PS3 has to render everything twice.
It was $30 CAD when I bought it.
And it was received fine. It has like 86 or something on Meta Critic.
L4D's story is written on the walls and stuff. It's a multiplayer game. Going through the same story driven set pieces would be boring.
And both consoles are crippling PC progression, what else is new.
Enjoy your $60 expansion pack.
I guess it was the turrets, and when the Big Daddy came in and mowed everyone down it reminded me of the first TF2 trailer with the Heavy mowing down a dozen Soldiers.
Among other things.
Valve are the best :)
It's like the same amount of content as Crysis: Warhead. Only Warhead cost $30.
Single player expansion through the eyes of a different guy, random flashbacks, and Crysis multiplayer + new maps on a separate disc.
Valve doesn't develop exclusively for Microsoft. But Valve's game engine isn't designed to run on the PS3, so that's not going to happen. Valve would go back to PC exclusives.
Wow, this seems oddly Team Fortress-ish.
In other words, awesome.
The first DLC pack introduced a new game mode with like 18 map variations ALONG with the two other VS campaigns.
...
At least they're not retardedly expensive like I thought they'd be.
Hey man, don't knock L4D. L4D is awesome (on the PC).
And FYI the campaigns are supposed to be about an hour long. It's a multiplayer game. 3 hours campaigns would be stupid.
Poor guys having to pay for free content on top of their $60 annual fee.
I didn't mean this was a dupe or anything. But it's been known for years Valve's stance on paid DLC. I had to try to quiet a sh1t-storm in that thread from a month ago with articles where Valve said that they'd never charge for DLC if they had the choice and that the price was MS's doing.
(also approved)
I told you guys the same thing like a month ago when it was announced.

Cool bubble, bro.
But you're right, Mass Effect 2 looks awesome (on PC)
Half the list is Final Fantasy...
A gamer reality show?
Why...
It should. Most 360 peripherals work with the PC.
