Free is too expensive. I prefer things that pay me to play them.
Rivalries are reflected through various campaign missions (jobs, combat events and such) and there are independently owned (competing) businesses. There aren't any competing families directly portrayed in the gameplay, however. If you were just playing sandbox mode, you wouldn't get much of a taste of it.
As for comparisons to Gangsters, same era, different location (AC as opposed to Chicago), all strategic actions occur in real time, and there's more of an attemp...
2/5 is much too harsh for this game.
I didn't realize everybody had to think exactly the same about everything. Must not have gotten the memo.
My guess is someone buys it up for cheap. It's not completely worthless, and with a better economic model, you could make money off the games.
That's an interesting point. Maybe the property is fundamentally flawed with respect to sustaining gameplay.
This game is horrendous, and has absolutely no redeeming value. Any money spent on it encourages more of the same. I say stay away. Far, far, far away.
The real punching doesn't start until Part 2...
Must have Bad Company 3.
If they're selling a brand new game at $13 a unit, they're losing on every unit sold.
Selling stuff is fine, but you need to, you know, make a profit. Otherwise your company goes out of business.
Can you descend into insanity when you're already there?
They make love to your ears. True story.
Yeah. I just hate getting another game in a series I love. It's awful.
007 Legends! I'm so excited (to be playing something else)!
Saying "I don't like X" and "I think X will be successful" are two very distinct possessions. I hate the Yankees, but I still think they're going to be successful most years. This case is no different. Patcher doesn't personally like the Wii U, but he thinks it will be financially successful.
Let's not pretend those positions are contradictory. They're not.
I really enjoyed it. I will say that the color palate could have used some work though. Also, more to do in the "open" world.
There was at least one game of the year candidate this time around. I'm of course talking about Dragon Ball Z.
I'm sorry, but like Call of Duty or not, a lot of developers worked really hard to get it where it is today.
We all do.
I wish I had more time to play it. Definitely coming back to this one once we get out of the fall busy season.
Did you read the article? I thought he made his points really well. Perfect Dark offered similar gameplay with a whole lot more features. Sure, GoldenEye broke ground, but Perfect Dark took that effort to another level.
