Ryse was a damn good game, simple yes but i loved it even though i hate hack and slash games. I also loved knack, i can see why people would maybe give it a lower score but it was great and exactly what i wanted to play in amongst the launch lineup of games.
But unless it gets 1's and 2's, never base a decision on someone elses decision
30fps is definately not, and while I agree I cant help but say that i would have preferred 900p with 60 fps. Especially for a game like this. seems like speed is essential so i think the extra frames at a lower resolution woul have been best

However that's the reality I have noticed with the wii u, the name, controller etc is had to market for the kind of audience that bought the original wii in droves in the first place. It's weird that people can love the 3ds but at the same time not even look at a wii u. Nintendo did this too themselves, you play with fire trying to latch on to the next big trend, kinetic and move can be put under this category to some degree.

I think stuff like this shows the issue with the wii u perception.
Sharing controllers between the wii and the wii u is good for gamers but
try and explain this to the causual mothers out there.
They have the wii u gamepad that only works with the wii, but wii controllers can work with the wii u, it makes it difficult to market to the very audience they try and target.

You realise that these sales data finish at the 15th of march, which is
2 or 3 days after titanfall released. 105,000 consoles sold for those 3 days (most of it will be titanfall bundle sales etc) is damn good
Also, this dosnt account for infamous release either so you can garuentee march will be very high globally for both consoles

There definatley going in the right direction. But a lot of stuff should have been ready by lauch, It will be interesting to see what is created when every console is a dev kit.
What im really hanging for is to increase the speed of the OS like it is on the PS4, they need to fine tune a few things and it will be and can be a great system

People will always be drawn to a cheaper price. Its weird but all people see is the intial 399$ rather than a potential value pack which may be 50$ more. This is common with casuals and such, a lower price is always going to sell better.
Thats probably why the xboxs 'value' approach to 499 (even though in some cases you got 2 games and a kinect) did much worse than sonys straight out 399
