What I'd like would be TimeSplitters 2/3 plus Second Sight HD Collection.
Second Sight was not directly related but came from the same studio and used the same art style. So it's sort of a spiritual single player cousin. It also used a ton of cool Havok effects for the time.
It was a very good game except for the clunky controls (you had to switch between powers instead of having one button for each power).
If they adjusted the controls and paired SS with TS...

Certainly part of the appeal back then was that TimeSplitters controlled way better than most console FPS.

Today that's commonplace.
But it was still more full featured than most shooters of today.

With a good map editor and custom mode options, there's still room for enough cool features to make a dent in the current market.
They could also push the time manipulation concept more than it was in the original games to add another ...

The image for this article made me realize that what I really want is a TimeSplitters - Piposaru crossover.
They look related.

Looks pretty cool, a controller-ready interface would be great.

I thought Valve knew better than letting a Greek supervize their economy.
Will there be some bankrupcy-themed DLC?

Is this the first time a character is subjected to an attempted rape in a work of fiction?
Is this condoning rape in any way?

Another proof that games are still considered like toys instead of creative works.

Same thing they showed at E3.
I wanna see the open ended environments they have been talking about, damn it!
This looks like the beginning of Halo 3.

1) The Gears Judgment reveal comes close to Gears 3 and features no gameplay details

2) Halo gameplay was underwhelming. They said that the game would have a great sense of scale, and what they showed looked like the beginning of Halo 3. It was a forest corridor.
They should not have shown the beginning of the game, and have focused on the open ended level design elements that distinguish Halo from the competition.

3) Splinter Cell is not an excl...

Visual performance in GoW is greatly helped by the predetermined camera though.
And there are areas of GoWIII, like the gardens that look pretty weak.

So no, I'd say that Uncharted 2/3 or Gears (especially with non-cropped split screen coop) represent more of an achievement.

The multi won't disappoint, it's not a problem, but the solo looks like the exact same thing.

They should try to experiment, at least a little bit.

People have said for a while now that the limitations of the camera are becoming overbearing.
Why not let the player move the camera? I'm not even talking all the time, but at certain points.
When all enemies have been dispatched and there's a great vista in the background, ha...

When you see these vids, you realize that for all the criticism about the little time spent on Vita at the press conference, they didn't really have anything to show.
They boast about having 25 games on the show floor, but there are virtually no games that aren't either multiplatform, ports, or minigame driven titles.
I'm not buying a Vita for a multiplat Jet Set Radio remaster, a Foosball indie minigame or Monkey Ball.

Among true exclusives, w...

People do not question the authenticity, they question whether the ambushes are canned animations and will play only when an exact combination of actions and level layout are encountered.

ND do say that animations will trigger only if the character is positioned a certain way in the level, which seems to suggest that this is indeed scripted.

For example, let's say that the hero is ambushed by an enemy and the girl can't throw the brick directly at...

David Cage might be an artist, which a is a somewhat rare commodity in gaming, but that doesn't make him a good one.

His pretentious game scripts wear their influences on their sleeves and are riddled with sequences that would not be considered quality enough to cut it in AAA films.

Heavy Rain wanted to be something like Sean Penn's The Pledge, but ended up being to it what Call of Duty is to Die Hard.

Ubisoft recycles a lot of design elements from game to games.
Some animations and gameplay bits looked a bit too close to AC (running and HUD) and Splinter Cell (cover).

Other than a few concepts (causing car crashes) and the gritty nature of the game (outing someone as HIV positive as shown - albeit briefly - in the demo was not exactly something I expected from major game like this), it seemed fairly conventional. And the technological interactions didn't see...

It was the exact same thing as Conviction except the mark and execute can be performed while running.
Level design was more linear than I'd have liked, but still offered a few options.
I hope the game will also be longer than Conviction.

The voice of Fisher was smoother than usual and I didn't like the new actor too much.

I don't blame them for changing the game.
Chaos Theory was pretty much as high as they could go ...

I don't care for it, it's only a gimmick and won't really change games.

But purely as a flagship E3 anouncement, it is awesome because SmartGlass seems to do some of what the Wii U tablet does, without needing to buy a new device.

Sure Wii U might do it a bit better because both the tablet and the controller are in the same device, so it's easier to transition from one to the other.
But then again, most of the tactile features in ...

It was a good game but the tracks were too few (11), and to make it worse mots tracks shared segments with others, which was truly aggravating.

They did their best to present each chapter as thematic, with a trailer that focused on a certain type of environments before each chapter, but in fact every one felt like the last.

Also, the concept of naming cars after action movie characters was fun, but not pushed nearly far enough, as there were just 3 brands...

Anyway Gears 2 had a lame script.

Only decent moments were when Dom finds his wife in the pod, and the final voiceover which was OK as far as open endings go.
Pretty much everything else was tripe.
