Spore. But looking beyond the bugs the games limited scope was more disappointing but you could still play it anyway.

Sid Meier's Railroads! There's almost no excuse for playing such a buggy game, but it is one of the only games of its kind and is fun.

old concept and still subject to conflict of interest for the phone maker for MS OS platform support and service for any attached module. further MS doesn't have their own phones so what types of modules will be made and in what number for what regions is up in the air. unless the phone maker, Samsung, allows for consumer choice (not selling you modules you don't need), and letting you buy modules from other companies.. Samsung module phone using LG keypad module? HTC supporting a tou...

Consider that Samaritan which is something like what you should expect from UE4 won't need all of the power that went into running that one demo, and that in 18 months it should be affordable to run that demo on a new desktop, it isn't going to be long before consoles will be capable. The problem is that unless the next Xbox and PS are designed from the ground up to run UE4.. there's going to be another 5-10 years wait for capable hardware. Or UE4 will be for PC and OnLive for a f...

“Storytelling is key in open world games,

I stopped reading.

Mandatory Grinding or whatever us on his crazy shiny head, to inflate progression in a single player game is not my idea of fun. Ignoring the story and playing with the world is my idea of fun.

so that it can be the only d3d12 game out there and not supported by 8th generation consoles, if they get released, that will still be running directx 9.0c.. fun

yep.. total malarkey. GTA not being the funnest sandbox on the block or at least fun to play in is crazy talk.

FPS just means it's more hands on gives you a new perspective to play from and appreciate the mayhem. Split second planning and tactics might be harder to manage if you're driving your characters (and hopefully armored and weaponized vehicles) into the fray. But that slows down game play compared to pointing and clicking. Slowing down game play so it can be appreciated in modern glory isn't a bad thing.

again the question, how far can you go in adapting an isomet...

crazy part is that 'hardware limitations' aside, SR3 has those cyber punk vehicles. Just need the augmentations and even more over the top weapons. Even the recruitment part was address early in that series with your homies. They'd just need to have more gangs (syndicates) fighting all the time.

indeed, when looking at SR3 you can see how imaginative developers can be and what that will mean for the games they'll be putting out.

Syndicate was one of the best totally politically inappropriate games that did what it set out to and so well it grew to legendary status. As with many other games that pay homage to an ancient title, Starbreeze could do worse by that legend in making the game more appropriate for modern audiences by making it an FPS. They could have mad...

Gran Tourismo's being first party and needed a huge install base and the next one not releasing until PS4 is mature aside,

You're very right. A great many studios out there have to meet unrealistic publisher expectations and so are unlucky when their games aren't good enough. Blur is a perfect example.

But there's no explaining dumping Burnout long enough to have the wolves get into the hen house. And that none have matched it, Blur Split/Se...

Almost expected Namco to hit the guy on the head with a ruler for comparing the game to Burnout.

- Pity about the shitty driving physics (early or not). In a racing game you'd expect classic ridge racer handling.. in this? not so much, even Burnout had a progressive damage system.

+ Love the in-situ environment menu system. Someone please give the entire design team a cookie (and the rest of the industry except Codemasters and Ubisoft, please copy Namco...

I already felt bad for people who bought Tron (movie was great game was shit). Then I saw this. And was like I hope they don't kill themselves.

But seriously now wow. What other game's trailers double the hype with each new one!? the VTOL, the Specter, Tron dream world? wtf Volition!!! (explains where the effort went that didn't go into Armageddon) but do they have drop some acid fridays or something!? Plus all the DLC? Where do they come up with this stuff? it i...

most of those will be on Xbox so there'd be no point putting them on Xbox 3.

again, Xbox 3 needs to be s subtle launch to cover availability of units. plus marketing and distribution it would be an unholy expense to put that many consoles on shelves.. now selling them online and skipping retail...

you have to consider which ones are going to do 4K movies for consumers. And how many people have 4K TVs. not in the next for years, but it will happen soon enough since they'd be releasing almost the same movie on home 4K as what you see in the theater. And charge accordingly.
