I thought the wireless guitars were rechargable?
I can't see Snake either, and after all that hubub about Snake, it would be stupid not to have him on the cover.
Lol. Only Japanese hardcore gamers by 360s? Doubt it. Those hardcore gamers probably play PC games/ dating sims. The Japanese that buy the 360s are probably the most western Japanese out there.
That's it exactly Uh-What. Some people just don't get it.
People like wireless. Less cluster in your room. And if you read the article you would find that the stand alone guitars are wireless so your wired guitars for realism theory is lacking. They don't include it in the bundle in order to keep the PS3 and 360 bundle prices the same.
Lol. Who gives a damn. If it plays the same, who gives a damn about a miniscule difference. 360 fanboys and PS3 fanboys are both blowing this and the IGN review out of proportion. Its not like this is Madden 08.
I think the Xbox 360 wireless technology is proprietary to Microsoft while the wireless tech for the PS3 is Bluetooth which is pretty much out there right now. That could be the cost difference. Anyway, why not still include the wireless in the bundle and charge a little more? How much more could it be?
Lol. I got a disagree.
Maybe they're clearing out their old stock of Falconless, Hdmi less 360s. If not, that is a good deal.
Seems a bit of a reach. Would be cool though, but I think a FFVII remake would conflict with FFXIII. That is unless FFXIII comes out in January...
Maybe just to post stats?
Sure dude. Sure.
IGN guy looks like he needs to hit puberty.
Not always dude. It could be the 360 version. Maybe the DVD can't fit all the information? Or maybe Rockstar needs more time to finish developing the Microsoft exclusive content to coincide with launch? Of course the PS3 problems are just as likely. I doubt it is either of those though and think that Rockstar never intended to release this year, but just announced an 07 release date to raise their falling stock prices.
Also, Dante isn't really playable from the start of the game.
You've gotta accept that Dante has to share the spotlight now with the Nero punk.
Like I said above, the version of the White Engine that was used for FFXIII was probably heavily modified and optimized for the PS3. But since FFXIII is supposed to be a ten year franchise, the cross platform engine does open up doors for a future FF game. I think it will be the MMO.
Most probably don't. I believe a few do. But I don't see what the problem is if it is exclusive. By the time it comes out, the PS3 should be very affordable for the masses.
Well, I think that the version of the White Engine that FFXIII uses is heavily modified and optimized for the PS3. That's just how middleware works. It serves as a base and developers add onto the base. Take renderware for an example. It is a really crappy base, but developers add onto it and modify it. This would probably make the porting of FFXIII a little bit harder. However, Squeenix probably left the door open for 360 development for their MMO (maybe that is why Microsoft made that note ...
Did anyone read the damn article? It has nothing to do with Sony vs. Microsoft. It has to do with a game publications relations to a game publisher and securing exclusive reviews. God damnit, why does everyone have to turn it into a console war? I think that is unfortunate that an editor was even considering this though.
