Well from all the rumors the next playstation won't have the cell processor so it won't be able to play ps3 games, the reason is to have a system that is easier to develop for than the ps3 was and that's one of the reasons it won't be called ps4. The Xbox most likely will have BC but at least Sony will have BC thru gaikai, I rather have a system where all developers are able to use as much power out of the console as possible with ease unlike the ps3 where some developers had ...
The next playstation won't be called ps4 and it won't be BC, it will not have the cell, and the only way to play BC will be thru gaikai, so keep your ps3

It's funny how some people say that 8gb of ram is not enough, this have to be pc gamers. If developers for consoles can make the games they have made for Xbox360 and playstation 3 with the little ram they have I can only imagine what they will be able to do with 8gb available to them. Can't wait for the next gen consoles and games.
