The games do cost money but most of it is spent on the marketing. Look at blizzard, they make a shit ton of money and are PC exclusive. PC exclusives can do well if they don't dumb them down for consoles or have crazy stupid DRM. Dragon Age 2 on both consoles sold less than this in it's first week.(Deservedly So)
This is how you do it. 2 patches in a week, retail edition is $50 and comes with more stuff than most collectors editions, NO DRM, Free DLC. Well done CD Projekt Red, well deserved. Bring on the expansions! PC FTW!

Sony just took a 3.17 billion dollar loss. Also 11 other sony Ericson websites around the world were hacked and more personal info was taken. They are FAIL at network security right now and it's going to cost them. The gaming division though made a $434 million dollar profit. It's a shame I hate hackers but going after geohot and telling hackers to " Bring it On" was incredibly stupid. Awesome electronics products HORRIBLE PR people.

BF3, Diablo 3, Starcraft 2 and expansions, The Old Republic, The Witcher 2 , HD versions of Skyrim, Rage, Strret Fighter 4 AE, Street Figher vs. Tekken. Even the new COD. Yes horrible time for PC gaming /s. No one said they hate consoles but the last splinter cell was awful, the trend is to dumb down everything for the casual crowd, who mostly play on consoles.
I owned all the COD's until MW2.I don't care how many people buy it, thats exactly the point. And Yes I think 12 million people that buy a game that is the SAME EXACT thing every year are stupid. I threw Justin Beiber in there to make a point that everyone buys his stuff even though he sucks, but it obvioulsy went over your head. Stay in school bro.
Doesn't mean it's any good. I put COD in with Justin Beiber both are very popular, extremely overrated and lacking on substance. PSN would actually be able to play games online LOL. And have anti cheat and a store to buy games all in one along with steam guard built in security.
