Well, the Xbox One is already on sale there, and sold 100,000 in its first week (day? I can't remember). I bet that PS4 and Xbox sales in China will be quite competitive.
Yeah, as brew said, Sony Bend (as in Bend, Oregon, USA) and Ready At Dawn (Santa Monica, California, USA) are not European studios.
@abzdiine
Sony Bend is in the United States (Bend, Oregon).
@Dudebro90 (great name, by the way, not at all representative of the typical N4G comments at all... /s)

Right on the announcement. "Also, in a few weeks, you will start seeing reduced pricing on some 4-hour rentals which will appear at $1.99."
Free with PlayStation Plus? That's just silly. So now, in addition to the free games you get every month (6 titles across three platforms, giving you 72 games to play with a year of Plus), you want to be able to play EVERY PlayStation Now game -- FOR FREE?
Tell me how that makes any kind of financial sense? Whatsoever?
EDIT: So because you don't happen to like the *free* games you're receiving on a console that's been out for less than a year,...
Also, I think anyone who's Disagreeing with my comment, doesn't understand what the word Disagree means. I'm stating a fact -- that the price is dropping. I'm not saying it's good or bad that they're priced that way (at least not in that comment).
Silly N4G. :)
Suppose Journey or Flower, both very short games, were to be on PS Now. Those both sold digitally on PS3 for $10-15. Let's say you could rent them, and COMPLETE THE GAME, in under four hours. For $1.99. Or $2.99. Or $4.99. Is that still a ripoff?
Just to let those who aren't aware know, there is a plan to drop most of those 4 Hour rentals to $1.99 coming soon.
The name "Region Free Gaming" is more of a play on the fact that the podcast has hosts from three different continents/territories -- the US, Europe/UK, and Australasia.
@ShinMaster:
I don't agree with Dan all the time, nor is it my place to; I don't work for or have any affiliation with his outlet. However, I can understand where he's coming from as the Reviews Editor for IGN. He's defending his writer and his website--as the person in charge of review coverage, that makes sense. Maybe he could have done it in private, but from my experience, Angry Joe doesn't do much in private--he likes to air his grievances publicly. ...
Great for early adopters to 4K, and hopefully will help expand adoption of PlayStation Now.
The screenshot in the story shows a wall full of PS4s... Clearly this show isn't based in reality.

Gracenote does work on Apple's music services, as well. Anytime you're searching for a track listing or you've uploaded your music and do a cover search, that's coming from Gracenote's servers.
I loved this game at PAX and in hands-on demos, can't wait to play locally with friends.
@inveni0:
I agree with your point. :)
He did say he's playing console-quality games on his tablet. You can play XCOM: Enemy Unknown (Giant Bomb's GOTY) and The Walking Dead (a LOT of other sites' GOTY) right now on iPad, and they play as well as they do on console. :)
Technically, a guy who has a PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U, Wii, 3DS, Vita, and yes, a tablet, is telling you to wait.
When I get a 3DS, it'll probably be one of the first things I buy.
If this came to Vita, I'd buy it in a heartbeat.
Having trouble uploading the photo for my submission, keep getting a runtime error. Anyone have suggestions for that?
