Xbox release wouldn't of helped. I think a PC release day one with it would be a better idea and they still got Sony exclusive money to help them cover things so I think it might not do brilliant but ok enough in the long term. Namco is just milking the same Sword Art Online with lack of budget as well as anime IPs that don't go to decent developers like Jujutsu Kaisen and My Hero Academia. Namco deserves their losses and no future Dot Hack or Xenosaga remaster :(.

Yeah it was a bad time to release it and they could of waited until at least May and there's just so many games that are coming out. If anything I'm struggling to keep up with finishing Rebirth, P3 Reload and Granblue let alone all the others I want to play.
Sounds exactly what Tales did with Arise. I enjoyed FF16 more than FF13 and FF15 personally. I just hope the next mainline entry Yoshida makes is more party RPG based.

Yeah MIke Ybarra was working for MS for years. Yeah PS and Nintendo produced bangers for years. MS hasn't produced much in years that has been decent. Only game I had interest in was Hi-Fi Rush which is on all platforms now.
God idk why these journalists have articles about this. I think this is a blessing especially everything been so PC these days. Longs the game is good and they allow developers to have their full vision for the game.
I wouldn't mind a new FF Tactics longs they keep the tactical elements of Tactics in it as well as a very in depth story. Which FF Tactics years ago has by far one of the best stories in the series.
They could throw as much money as they want they will never get huge success. But they might prove us wrong. Thing is if it was any other company they would be long gone. Personally MS would benefit better off as a full third party publisher like Sega.

Sony and Nintendo will still be keeping most of their games console exclusive to keep the value on their consoles. Xbox failed at this with putting it on PC day one as well as the effects of Gamepass and has needed to port to other platforms recently.
Hope they start using some PS1/PS2 Sony JP IP Games again. Fix the classics games/emulator on PSN for PS4/PS5 and put an effort of putting some games such as Xenogears and Xenosaga which wasn't released in EU/Oceania back in the PS1/PS2 days.
