F.E.A.R. 3 | ZTGD Review

KillerWolverine Writes: During this console generation, it’s hard to find a first-person shooter/horror game. There are more than enough of normal shooters that take you for the same ride but, as a shooter fan, I kind of want something more. And F.E.A.R. delivers that. The games combine two of my favorite genres and keeps me on the edge of my seat the entire play-through. And F.E.A.R. 3 continues that atmosphere while still keeping familiar shooter elements.

Nobody's playing this game and is actually a ton of fun...

would be an 8.5 if the multiplayer actually worked. And the OP is rediculous. out of the four MP modes, two of them have to be unlocked via PSN or XBL. Another hand of control at the expense of a full product and ownership, thanks! Will be returning this game soon.

and why didn't they advertise their game better? it has no buzz whatsoever

They are "online" modes so why does it matter if you have to unlock them online? I am not for some tactics of the online passes, but this one didn't bother me too much.

it has local split screen mode also. when psn/xbl shuts down, and they will because servers don't last forever I don't have these modes unlocked on my physical copy to use on any other console(ps3 in my case)or when my hdd crashes I can't access the content anymore. I BUY games to keep, not to play and resell. there is no ownership in digital media and that's what I don't like about it. Why didn't DAY1 or WB come right out and say, "this game requires an online pass", making it well known before people even put a dime on the product?

just sell me a full, unlocked game without the OP control and locked mode bs then I'll be happy. this is only going to get worse and gamers refuse to see it.

and the game isn't even scary lol. and I'm still waiting to hear from the devs about a patch that so I customers can actually find a game.

Dont know why every1 thinks this game is good its an ok FPS and yes the online is quite good but for a FEAR game it sucks, i already traded it in for the MUCH better Shadow of the Damned..

F.E.A.R. 3 Is Still The Most Original Multiplayer Shooter Around

DualShockers Writes "F.E.A.R. 3 (or F.3.A.R. if you’re a marketing executive) isn’t a great singleplayer game. It’s fine, competent even, but Day One Studios had an unenviable task in trying to wrap up Monolith’s F.E.A.R. series. With two timelines and two highly different styles of horror attempted in its wake, F.E.A.R. 3, well, it tries its best."

F.E.A.R. 3 wasn't even really a horror game when it came to the campaign. It was a good action game, but lost just about all of its horror roots along the way.

Loved fear 1 and 2. Reboot please.

That was probably the first time ever that I saw Castlevania in a list of horror games.

ps: Be warned, you have to click a lot to see every game in the list. I stopped after the 4th time.
