Look pretty close. Once this drops in price I may pick it up, too many games to play right now.

Yea I agree, still a fun game IMO.

wanted to buy the game, but they gimped the CoOP which is the reason I am holding off... game is on sale this week...so maybe will get it

asyouburn4692d ago

What happened to the co-op?

Looks almost the same ...
but I dont know why they hyde the framerate drops, screentear and lightning problems of the 360 version. Also the PS3 version has higher res textures. Their screenshots doesnt make the game justice.

Anyway I just bough the 360 version and is a really fun game that reminds me a lot of the old Dark Alliance style.
Again it looks better on the PS3 but its marginally... if same thing would have favored the 360 version, LENS OF TRUTH would have run to make you notice so. Also Lens is the first comparative site that says the 360 version looks sharper... weird!!. When a game looks better on 360 I give it props but when a game looks better on the PS3 I do the same and dont try to find excuses like most of this comparative "proffesionals" do... just saying.

Ohh also when overall a game looks better on PS3 this sites tend to downplayed it and they rate it slower. The sad victims were Bionic Comando in the past and Shadows of the Damned recently... ohhh welll

This is what they had to say about the differences between both games. BOTH got the win for all 3 categories.

The visual side of things had small areas that shined on one version over the other, but both versions had their moments. Furthermore all of the differences that could be found were extremely minimal and offer no real advantage. In the end, they will both look the same while your playing it.

P E R F O R M A N C E

Performance was a close bout and the PS3 did go above and beyond the 30 FPS mark, but the 360 version was much more consistent and hung back with a frame rate cap that the PS3 version lacked. With this in mind, you are more likely to notice the few times that the frames drop on the PS3 version than you are on the 360. With all factors taken into consideration, this category ends in a tie.

L O A D I N G

Load times ended in a tie with both versions coming out with similar results to one another. Note, the PlayStation 3 version required a mandatory install of 2 gigs.

However, looking at what 2 of the 3 said here:

Really not much too talk about. This time around, the Xbox wins hands down. If your going to purchase this game the 360 is the one to get.

Shawn

“…The 360 is the one to get…”

Personally, it’s a pretty easy calculation. Better graphics + better performance = Win for Xbox 360.

Doesnt this seem a bit either Biased or just downright BS?
Looking at the comparrison there is VERY little to say that either one is a clear winner. Both are damn near identicle. And having them both side by side it would still be hard to tell any difference.

If this wasn't playable on X1 too I'd never get round to playing it. No idea how good it is but worth a go!

gamer78043109d ago

its a good dungeon crawler game, i finished it on 360, thinking of picking up the expansion and playing on xb1.

TheCommentator3109d ago

My only beef with 360 GWG on XB1 is that it should be downloadable straight from the dashboard like the XB1 games are. The extra steps are easy enough but unnecessary. Since I still use my 360 it's no big deal for me personally, just my two cents on the subject.

Bobafret3109d ago

I have too damned many games.
