Pocket Gamer - When you consider the dynamics of the joust, it's a wonder anyone ever survived.
Not only were you trying to stay on a galloping horse in full armour, but you had to control said mount with your legs while waggling around an enormous pointy stick, and looking for your opponent through your visor's tiny slit.
Push Square: "By the time that you've fallen off your mount several times, you'll realise that Shake Spears! is flogging a dead horse with its yawn-inducing gameplay. This is a functional foray, but it's boring, and it'll never once give you an incentive to pay for it – even if it may demand you do so in order to overcome its difficulty spikes. Ultimately, this is a mindless medieval fest with bad microtransactions; don't touch it – not even with a 10-foot jousting pole."
After playing it, a 2/10 seems generous. I guess it's functional, which is at least a point or two.
Review for Shake Spears! on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita. To joust, or not to joust, that is the question. Sometimes a game comes out with a title that explains everything you need to know. Obviously, this is a game about jousting while shaking a spear up and down. Although there's a bit more to it than that, you already have a firm understanding of what to expect.

Shake Spears!
I'm so glad that Sony gave me Duke Nukem 3D megaton for free with ps+. I've been playing that on my Vita on my way to work and it is a blast! I also love that I got the Infamous DLC. Great GREAT month for ps+ imo.
Now about this store sneak peak idk really what to think. It would be great to get an atelier game (Vita) for ps+ sometime in future. That or a Disgaea game for Vita. That would be great!
