Was Too Human Really Worth the Wait? Does it Deserve a Sequel?

I sincerely enjoyed a few things in Too Human, but as a package it severely disappointed. I do hope they get a chance to create a sequel.

Too human is a great game and i would be excited to see 2,the customization options are so much better than fable and so is the online co-op,i hope that if you can make 2,that you can make even more armor items and weapons.

A first game should NEVER assume a sequel and has to be a self contained story imho-it smacks of arrogance to say "Trilogy" before anyone plays a thing.

Thing is, with TH, they took so long getting their act together and then Dyack pissed off THE WORLD with his nonsense that assuming a sequel on top of that was monumental idiocy and made them look beyond arrogant. Ten years for THAT and they expect a sequel to get financed??!! Seriously?

The saddest part is I STILL believe there's a decent game in there being strangled by the useless fluff. Streamline a lot of things and build on what worked and you MIGHT get a winner but so many people just hate the game now that you'd think they would be better making a sequel for a certain, earlier game instead, wouldn't you?t's what I hope anyway!!

So DC had ONE sequel and we're still patiently awaiting the third instalment as about the only way(outside MH and SF series)that Capcom can save themselves!!

The game wasn't great in any area, but I found myself playing for hours at a time whenever I started it up. Get rid of that long ass death sequence & i'm good.

Every time I died in Too Human I imagined Dyack smiling as the drawn out death animation took place, sure of his genius as everyone else in the room knew it was too long and pretentious.

Two human is a good game, shame many prefer overhyped dribble and titles that have a greater score on meta

The main issue for me was hitting the stick in direction you want to attack, but it works when you get used to it, I'd deffo give it a shot I hope there's a sequel

Too Human was a killer game. It just needed levels that aren't 2-3 hours long. Or, ya know, checkpoints/save points so you can quit and come back. Ugh.

I agree but in that Loot Grind style of gameplay starting levels over isn't too big of a deal if you get more stuff, what I found tiring was the lack of variety in enemy design.
I think I played through three and a half times before I finally got sick of those Frost Giant battles.
The game was promoted as having randomised levels and enemy spawns but you'd never know due to the samey environments and lack of enemy variety.
Too Human was great fun, just not that memorable, I mean,boss battles from DMC4 or Vanquish or Bayonetta stick in my mind, Too Human...not so much.

The gameplay was really fun, as well as the co-op. There were just many little annoyances that could have been fixed with a few more months of development. I would be interested in a sequel.

Game was rough around the edges, but with a little polish, could be pretty good. That's usually what sequels are all about, perfecting the formula. I'd play the 2nd.
