From the Bethesda Blog:
"Two weeks ago, Pete discussed that that we've been working hard to bring Shivering Isles to the PS3 either by way of PSN or a standalone disc. Well today we've got some good news. To make the game accessible to everyone, we've officially announced that we're releasing the game as a standalone disc. Just as with the Xbox 360 version, you'll still be required to already have a full version of Oblivion to play Shivering Isles.
Shivering Isles is scheduled to ship in the North America on November 20th for $29.99."
Virtuos is currently working on a multiplatform Unreal Engine 5 remake, which is rumored to be The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.
I thought they’d go for Morrowind first to be honest but this is a welcoming surprise to tide us over before ES6
Unreal Engine isn't efficient for open world games, so I question the reliability of this story.
Hopefully modders can fix the aged combart in this game if this is true. Enemies leveling up with you broke and defeated the whole purpose of leveling up.
Created by Bethesda Softworks, The Elder Scrolls is hailed as one of the most groundbreaking RPG franchises.
GF365: "If you’re a reader, this list of great games for avid readers is for you. Games are a form of art, and some have written literature in them."
Sweet just bring it either way!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ok what does this do? Is it adding 20+ hours of extra play time or is it something that is going to add 2 hours play? I don't want to spend $30 for just another side quest.
whats the point, Oblivion:GOTY is released shortly...which has all of the expansion packs in it!.......just release it on download, ffs!.
Thats why I have a 60gb Hard drive!.
I most definately think so. From what I have read and heard, shivering Isles adds on another 30 or so hours to an already huge, great game.
I almost got rid of my Oblivion to get the GOTY and am glad now that I did not. I will pick this up for $30.

what about the new styff on XBL? will ps3 owners get this latest one? I think its the fighters stronghold
