Kaos Studios’ Jeremy Greiner responds to complaints about the frequent freezing issues found in the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of Homefront.
Jack writes: "Back in March 2011, the first-person action shooter Homefront arrived on the Xbox 360 from THQ, along with a storm of publicity which included a really cool live-action trailer"
Last week game dev Steve Thornton took to Twitter to ask: fellow devs, have you ever slipped something into a game you're working on that's just for you? The replies are well worth a read.
Deep Silver and Humble Bundle are currently offering the first Homefront game for free. This offer will last for the next 48 hours, so be sure to visit its Humble Bundle page in order to acquire your free copy.
get it! the single player is excellent and intense and the MP is pretty fun, too.
Ehh, PS4 needs these deals too, or consoles in general we always get discounts rarely free stuff that's REALLY free (games with gold / psplus isn't free)
No shit.My game must of froze 4x straight then it blew my tv sound out for 2hours.God dam game. Why are devs so dam lazy about getting games out at 100% instead of 70%.
Has anyone who has it installed on their 360's had this problem? That's what I'm going to do so I'd be happy to know. Most games load less and run better that way.
why people give money to third party mediocrity i will never understand. Save your money for better exclusives.
I'v only froze one time. I'm not mad though i have faith in Kaos. It could be MUCH worse. (looks at Test Drive Unlimited 2)
as of right now... I have only seen another response from the developers about the servers on Xbox.. saying they have doubled capacity...
other than that all the other issues haven't been talked about since they intially commented saying they were aware of the issues...
I'm not trying to play MP again until I get reassurance my PS3 won't freeze...
or if it keeps going the way it looks like with the Xbox version getting better support.. I might just get it for xbox... or just get rid of it all together.
