Xbox 360 owners have reported on discussion forums and review sites widespread problems with the wireless gaming receiver, an accessory that enables the use of the videogame's controller with PC games.

You bloody people don't even check the news to make sure it's not a duplicate before approving it. You're just way too anxious to approve it because it's a negative news for Xbox 360. This got approved so bloody fast by the same bunch of fanboys (Rowland, drtysouf21, MaximusPrime, xbox360jimmy07, bebo) that they did not even give anyone the time to look for the duplicate.

MS did a great job with the other wireless accessories, they've worked flawlessly for me, I figured this would've worked just as well. Good thing I have a wired controller to as a backup. ;)

1) download the xbox360 gaming controller drivers from microsoft.com

2) get a wired 360 gaming controller and attach it to your pc's usb, that'll fix it.

3) if it still doesn't work: check your wireless controller, it's a sixaxis, you ps3 fanboy crybaby, people who approve news like this are just fanboy crybabies

plus, 360 owners don't need this attachment, it's the PC owners who do.

As for that I've not had any problems with it, I swear people must piss on their microsoft products before trying to use them cause i've never had the problems people describe.

got my cell phone, my cordless phones, my router, my wireless nic cardin my computer, my wireless mouse and keybord, my wireless controllers for ps3, and 360 and wii....
and i've yet to have a problem.

I thought that this device was designed to allow you to use your 360 controllers with your PC. If this is so, would it be PC owners having problems with it and NOT 360 Owners as the title says. Also, shouldn't this story fall under PC and not XBOX360.

Even if they own a 360, they are trying to use it with their PC. Also, some people may even go out and by this periphal and a 360 controller without actually owning a 360. Title gives this story a bias slant, and this is probably why it got approved even as a duplicate story.

that since they are using the wireless receiver for the PC to play it with a 360 controller they might own a 360 console. thats why it says 360 owners. look guys, im not a sony fanboy or a 360 troll. i like both of the systems.

If you either submitted this story, approved it, or made negative comments about MS in thread, YOU ARE A MORON.

This has NOTHING to do with the 360, and is 100% BOGUS. There is no problem with this device; anyone experiencing problems, either haven't installed the correct driver(s), or fail to understand which games it's compatible with.

I use it with my wireless headset on WOW with vent. I've never had any problems.

Hasn't everyone noticed? This is a sony biased website.
1) After the NEWS tab on the homepage is the PS3 tab. -Don't tell me is alphabetical, because then the WII tab would be before the XBOX 360. And the PC tab would be first. etc etc.
2) Sony posts have over 100 replies every time. Xbox posts generally break over 100 if the sony fans try to post negative comments.
3) Any time a post comes out that the fanboys deem to be negative for sony or postive for xbox, generally spawns a 'retort' or 'rebuttal' type post stating exactly the opposite.
4) I could go on for days...

Anyways. Suck it up people, stop being ignorant little biased pricks with only one sense of purpose. This site is news for GAMERS, not news for FANBOYS. I like to play games. This means that if the game is best on the 360, then that's what I will get it on. If the game is best on the PS3, then that is what I will play it on. If I can only get it on Wii, then I will. Exclusive? heh. Go Figure. If you can't afford all three systems, then buy the one that you feel suits your tastes, but don't hate the others. They all have their good and bad points.

My choice? X360. And I own all three.

works fine for me. There are more steps than simply pressing the guide button on the controller, you need to resync it to the windows receiver. But I never really use it that much. For me its more of a gimmick ultimately

This wireless receiver is for the PC. Either way, it's M$ and it's bad so post it under the 360. Lets post the Sony laptop batteries under the PS3. I have so many ignores under my name because I will not kiss Sony's a$$. Hell I piss off 360 owners also. It is bad to go against the grain.
