Rumour: 360 price-cut to include Blue Dragon

According to Disposable Media, Microsoft is likely to bundle a first-party title with the Elite - rumoured to be priced at £299.99 - for no extra cost. Disposable Media believes said title could well be Blue Dragon, given that it is due out in Europe on the same day. Other speculation also suggests a selection of Microsoft titles may be offered...

Bioshock and Blue Dragon? I doubt it Microsoft bundles can only contain 1st party titles not 3rd party.

Blue Dragon is enough as I have my COLLECTORS EDITION pre-ordered at GAME for which I will be at the door as it opens on Friday lol.

Sounds great. I am pretty sure it may be only one game. Hell I will take Blue Dragon for free If they pacakge Bioshock or Halo 3 in conjuction with a price drop, they will selll like hotcakes.

Like with Bioshock but it will NOT be a Microsoft bundle as I said they can only inlude 1st party games.

What the article is saying for the release of the ELITE Microsoft *might* include Blue Dragon.

HALO 3 isnt out until September 25/26 so who knows it will probably be a bundle then not now.

But yeah GAME might do a Bioshock bundle or create a Blue Dragon bundle with Bioshock.

Microsoft could bundle BioShock with the console if they made a deal with 2K Games. They have a special Trusty Bell bundle in Japan and it comes with a copy of the game, among other things.

I doubt that will happen, however, simply because it sounds way too good to be true.

But apart from the hdd space with the new premium's with hdmi coming out is there any other reason for an elite apart from the colour.

You make a good point put it this way its £130 for the hard drive on its own, and with the IPTV service (BT only?) and with the movie on demand service launching in Europe near the end of the year the space might be needed.

If you have a premium trade in value is £140 now minus that from the Elite and its £160 so if you have an old premium for the extra £30 you get HDMI and the new heatsink for more reliability.

Also if you like the colour then well its better for you since I have come across many a year ago saying they wanted a black one as well.

£130 is a rip off for the hard drive thats like $260! Its $180 in the USA and even that is overpriced.

Microsoft accessories are weirdly priced, the camera is cheap and is damn good so is the controller but the hard drive and wireless adaptor are steep.

Me personally never intend to use the xbox 360 to watch tv on or anything apart from games.

I dont like using the internet to watch television, now dont get me wrong its great feature, but i think having a digital tuner being able to recieve the freeview service here in the uk is the better option so ill probs pick up the ps3 digital tuner.

Plus my connection is not that great as living at uni and all money is better spent on other things then a beasty internet connection, i would probrebly have a different view if i had a 10mb line ;)
