With the year nearly at its end, Heartcore Gaming takes a look at what titles make your top ten lists this year!
"A great year for shooters"
Which usually means a bad year for everybody else. I'm glad this was not the case THIS year though.
Top 10 games this year.
Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Uncharted 3
Infamous 2
LA Noire
Dead Space 2
Battlefield 3
Assassin's Creed: Revelations
Saints Row 3
Batman: Arkham City
Dark Souls
The question should be, Which games will be remembered in 10 years time?
Portal 2
Skyrim
Batman AC
Gears 3
Uncharted 3
LA Noire (maybe)
LBP 2
I only got 7, since I haven't played Skyrim or Gears 3 and a few other biggies that came out in '11
THE BEST:
Battlefield 3
Uncharted 3
Batman: Arkham City
Forza Mororsports 4
LA Noire
Crysis 1 (360/ps3 ported version)
Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Vietnam Expansion pack
HONORABLE MENTION:
Crysis 2
Driver: San Francisco
THE WORST:
Homefront
SOCOM 4
XMNR: Amazon released its special weekly deals for the week of October 16 and it includes discounts on Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Nail'd, PES 2011, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and a pair of wireless headsets.
On Black Friday I imagine Deus Ex will be $19.99 or possibly even below that...
I'm picking up a soccer game this year and I'm very unsure which one to get. PES or FIFA 11. I've played previous iterations of FIFA before, but don't got much experience with PES.
Can we for once make this a constructive discussion about pros and cons about these 2? And hopefully I will be able to make my mind up on one of these.
I hate such comparisons!
ps - PS3 version looks better. :P
It looks like crap on both. Not a big fan of footie games any longer but Fifa 11 looks better imo. Especially the player animations.
Then again, footie fans usually say that PES offers deeper gameplay. If that's still true then that's what matters first and foremost.
