Thankfully for fans of both the Wii and the dying JRPG, we have Arc Rise Fantasia from developer Image Epoch and publisher Ignition. Every element fans of the genre love is here and represented well. It’s almost as if Image Epoch sat down and during the brainstorming session, wrote down every well-known fixture of popular Japanese role-playing games and made sure to include every last one."
Evan from Bit Cultures writes: "If you can get past one of the most atrocious voice acting experiences in living memory (there are a few worse, for sure, but this is bad), then the gameplay is pretty enjoyable. The narrative is also an interesting tale, and the soundtrack is pretty remarkable. But while these aspects are very strong, I’m not quite sure it saves the game."
