Over this past weekend, rumours have begun spreading about the possibility of a European release for Deadly Premonition, published by Ignition Entertainment in North America. A budget title for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 that received a great deal of consumer support upon it’s release in North America earlier this year, despite being almost universally panned by critics, Deadly Premonition is a Survival Horror title that has readily been compared to the absurdly unique television series, Twin Peaks.
Deadly Premonition is a weird, weird cocktail that doesn't go down smooth for everyone, but it's still absolutely worth sampling.
It’s sooooo janky but the story is so good and the agent is so quirky I loved it thouroughly, the story is that good that you can actually make it through all of its jankiness and issues .
It’s a diamond in the rough and rough is saying lighly.
This game deserves a remake out of any game I can think of .
If they fixed the combat ,driving and movement this would be one of my favorite games all time and it already is in a way.
I enjoyed this back during ps3 days. I'd buy it again if they re released it fixed up a little. I had fun with it.
Twinfinite: "Sometime comedy and horror are one and the same! Find out which moments from our favorite horror games made us laugh instead of cry."
ok I believe that Deadly Premonition 2 scene described in the article, takes the cake! Although one could argue that there are so many memorable ridiculous moments in this game.
This week on COG Considers, we tackle one of the most tired and unpleasant tropes in horror games: why games--and every other pop culture avenue--are so determined to paint people with Dissociative Identity Disorder as murderers.
Are they? You are fixed on Japanese games that are anime based/fashioned. Perhaps if you were not playing games that are similar to the animes that inspired them you would have more/different experiences.
When Cliche and Troupes are the building blocks, you can’t expect much. Just like you cannot expect good case study when the tester/observer has practically no variance in test subjects.
Sooooo many horror games out there... you really gotta explore some more.
Thank god
I thought this looked worth a bash! If it came with a budget price like £19.99 or something I'd probably pick it up.
Reviews state this game sucks ass. Is it any good? I saw it here in the States but I was skeptical...
why is this also posted on the ps3 section of the board...it aint on ps3???
Is this actually good?
