MGS:Peace Walker Makes A Strong First Day Debut in Japan

That’s 60% of the game’s total shipment. Even more impressive is that those sells were of the Special Edition. The Regular Edition only sold 9,000, a mere 25% of total shipments."

Just a quick thing though N4G, I noticed how this article has been reported for no apparent reason as the article is valid. It has sources from various companies. Do you think fanboys may report articles for no reason just because its from the opposing system? Just a thought, great layout though.

Did anyone else have problems logging in to the new site? When I enter my username & password, it doesn't log me in. It brings me back to the main page, but my login does not register.

I even tried re-registering, but there is a field that requires you to enter the letters that appear in a security box. The box doesn't even show up when I try, so I just receive an error.

I've been a member for over 2 years, and this is the first time that I can't log in.

Good for them. Let's hope it does as good everywhere else. I got mine preordered at amazon already. My only fear is that it isn't as good as a singleplayer only game but I've never been let down by Kojima.

Off topic though, it looks like the new n4g let's you comment much easier on the PS3 internet browser than the old one, You don't have to log in each time you go to a new page. Was afraid it it wouldn't work at all with the PS3 internet browser but I'm pleasantly surprised. Yay.

Peace Walker is a fantastic addition the the PSP's collection of games. I personally can't wait to buy it. A game doesn't need to be on a console to be stellar.

It definitely needs to be on a console to be appreciated much more. At least for me...

Handhelds IMO are good for simple games concentrated on creative gameplay rather than great production values, great story and overall package.

The new GOW game will show some of the origins of Kratos's cool aspects like his tattoo and his suffering, etc. That would be an awesome PS3 game in HD like GOW3 is.

That's just my opinion of course... I understand some people enjoy handhelds immensively.

i want this so bad! but i dont want to shell out the money for a PSP when there is a possibility of a PSP2 about to be announced at this years E3! It all depends n what kind of launch window we are talking about though, if the PSP2 doesn't come out for another year and half or so, then i might shell out the money for a PSP3000.

With this game, Valkyria Chronicles 2, new God Of War game then it seems to me that there is a lot of support for the PSP.

For anyone thinking that a PSP2 is going to be shown at E3 then your kidding yourself, its clear that Sony has plans to keep supporting the PSP for a long time. As a handheld its still light-years ahead of the competition so i just dont see a sucessor for another few years.

Also Sony has only jsut started breaking even from its various costly R&D projects (blu-ray,PS3) so i just dont see them bringing out a PSP2 anytime soon.

Anyway, the Peace Walker is amazing - forget waiting for a PSP2 and just go a PSP, you dont want to miss out on this game.
