Crap! This game plus Dead Rising 2 and Lost Planet 2... that's a lot of money since i'll buy two copies for co-op and multiplayer.

I'm worried about the Aliens if the Predators are able to jump this far. But i hope they balance out the Aliens properly against Predators. I dont want everybody online to choose Preds again.

Why not? The races don't have to be balanced. IMO, it's even more fun, if the pred is overpowered. All you have to do is limit the number of preds per map...a simple server setting.
Preds were too weak in AVP2.

Heavy Preds are godly in AVP2. Unless they're uncloaked then two shots with a marine sniper rifle to the head kills 'em. Yes, melee only Heavy Preds with their lances which have PA status damage (Piecing Armor).

They did limit the amount of Preds in AVP2. But yeah, hopefully they will do the same in AVP3 since it looks like the awesome things that Preds could do just ramped up.

There had better be Pretorian Aliens again. They also should let marines have PA ammo pickup for their handguns again.

The old AvP game was definitely three games in one. The Marine was a standard survival-horror FPS, the Predator was combination stealth/action, and the Alien was very stealthy and had some almost platforming elements. The balance was actually pretty good, too - the Marine was fragile but had the best weapons. The Predator was tough, but for "honor" didn't have overwhelming firepower. The Alien didn't have any ranged weapons, but was fast fast fast, could climb on anything, and didn't take fall damage.

One disadvantage back then was that it needed a fairly beefy machine (for the day).

Rebellion's making this game, too. Looks like they are sticking with the same concept but updating it to modern times.

AVP2 was a lot better than the first one, and this honestly doesn't look like that good of a follow up to it.

The predator didn't have superior firepower? An auto-aiming explosive plasma cannon sounds pretty superior to me.
The pred was overpowered in AVP1, but that was fun, because a group of 3-4 marines had to work together to survive against 1 pred. Like in the movies.

AVP1 failed from the multiplayer standpoint. AVP2 was the golden game.

Preds have nothing against a marine/corporate sniper. Any slight movements from the screen, if the sniper's really good is a head shot. Yeah, i was one of those cunts that people hated.

Misleading title is misleading. It's not a trailer, it's just a vid of someone playing as the Alien.

This title is misleading, But WOW!! No wonder they saved the ALIEN play footage for last. It seem to me thats gonna be THEE CHARACTER to master as well play with, Especially in mulitplay. It moves alot faster in it's POV than it dose when you see it running about in from the spectator view of the other charaters. What's with the "head taring" kills? The "tail spike" kills are pretty nice. I could guess how all the civilians gonna behave when the alien gets at them, but I would've like to see the "marines' behave alittle more ramdomlly, lets say if an armed marine spots you, of coarse he'll yell out for his team, draw his weapon, and attempt to take you down. But if you able to creep up on a marine while his alert meter is low, And seem to just appear from nowhere(*from their POV) They should have about the same reaction that FROST & LAMBERT had when the alien appeared right in front of 'em in the 1st ALIEN movie, TOTALLY frozen in FEAR and unable to move. Then you just do what you do as the alien. And I would also would've liked to see the alein able to SNATCH UP their prey off the ground to mangle & kill while still suspended upside-down
off the ceiling like we all saw in ALIENS & ALEIN3.

Play AVP2, Aliens are pretty easy to play as. The controls could not have been more perfect.
