OXM writes: "You want to spot a douchebag on Xbox Live? It's easy. Check their avatar and see if they're wearing shutter shades or not.
Thanks to the dashboard update, there's now an even more effective way of spotting them. Anyone sporting the lightsaber avatar prop from Xbox Live Marketplace, available for the cheap (ahem) price of 400 Microsoft Points. This is even worse than the shutter shades thing because you're not only being a douchebag, you're paying money to be a douchebag."
Huzaifa from eXputer: "2008 was home to the likes of Call of Duty: World at War, Dead Space, GTA 4, Far Cry 2, Left 4 Dead, and many other hits, which is outright remarkable."
Just about every year in the 7th generation was great and something we most likely won't experience again.
2009 for example had Assassin's Creed 2, Batman: Arkham Asylum, Dragon Age: Origins, Uncharted 2, Halo 3: ODST, Killzone 2, Borderlands, Bayonetta, and Demon's Souls to name a few.
While the mainstream media always sees things turning in favor of the hero, here are 6 games that own being a bad guy.
Pretty much all of these games listed are based around a morality system you don't have to be bad and you don't have to be good.
It seems to have left out some real amazing games like red dead redemption 1/2,ass effect and true crime la/ny
Armored Core VI?
Ok, I'm really missing something here. Just beat chapter 3 earlier this evening, unlocked A-rank Arena fights. I'm not seeing or sensing any branching paths or morality system and I've done every side mission and arena fight available to me up to that fight.
Is something big coming soon to branch the story?
No mention of Grand Theft Auto? Saints Row (original trilogy), Manhunt? Also The Suffering (depending on the ending you get).
Video games are no longer just a simple past time. Today's games are evolving into true works of art. Offering intriguing narratives, cinematic setpieces, and profound messages, games can entertain us for hundreds of hours.
I never got around to mass effect - I’m skeptical that it would hold up if I were to try it now
WTF?! The light sabers are awesome. The only thing worth getting for your avatar. The guy who wrote this must be jealous that one of his friends bought it before him or something to that nature.
My friend picked up one of these XBL lightsabers. I wouldn't necessarily call him a douchebag, he's just a big Star Wars nerd.
I am, however, very happy that in the last couple years, the term "douchebag" has found its way back into popular lexicon. Douchebag, how I've missed you.
You want to spot a douchebag on the internet?
Look for the guy that writes articles about people cause they spent $5 for their system that they have probably already spent $500+ on.
I haven't bought any Avatar extras, but I really don't care if others do. AND light sabers are f*cking cool in any way/shape/form.
B/C I have both the Lightsaber and the Jedi clothes.
I love Star Wars and the KOTOR series and I think any fan of them will also appreciate it.
p.s. I's rather have this then spend my points on his aforementioned arcade titles, except for the new title Shadow Complex. That game is bad ass:)
I have a rubber chicken, I guess that would make king douche.
