BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger - Review

TheGamerAccess.com writes BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger is a 2D arcade style fighter, which is a successor to the Guilty Gear series, developed by ARC System Works. Although it mainly appeals to the dwindling 2D arcade fighter genre, it's definitely a detailed and polished fighter. It may not boast the appeal of, let's say, Street Fighter or Tekken, but in my opinion it actually feels like an implementation of the Guilty Gear series. It's fun for the gamers who are still clamoring and hoping 2D arcade fighters stay alive and BlazBlue showcases the power that 2D fighter games still have. Anyone remotely interested in the genre would feel right at home.

BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger PC Review | RGN

DJ Killzown Jones of RGN writes, "BlazBlue Calamity Trigger is still a solid fighter that PC fighting game fans should pick up . It is a bit of a disappointment that long load times of the games original release are still present and the games sequels aren’t offered as expansions/add on’s but these things alone should shy away games that haven’t played the game or others who are returning to the series."
