The dutch website PS3 Only recently held an interview with Dave Epke, New media manager and product manager of SCE Benelux. They talked about Sony's preparations for the European launch, the games and things to expect for the future. Below you can read a few highlights.
-MotorStorm should be the ultimate next-gen game. Resistance is also pretty 'next-gen', especially online.
-Downloadable games like Super Rub a Dub
and FlOw are also pretty next-gen, thanks to the innovative controls and the high definition graphics.
-There are a lot of games still unannounced for 2007. And they will definitely supprise you!
-Uncharted, Lair, Heavenly Sword, MGS4, Killzone and Ratchet & Clank will all be released in 2007 and will be pretty amazing.
-More connectivity functions between the PSP and PS3 will be announced soon.
-There will be a whole bunch of new features and improvements coming with a new firmwareupdate in march, but Dave could only talk about the multitask functionality.
It seems the PLAYSTATION 3 has a bright future. For the entire interview, click on the story link below. You can click on the link 'english translation' if you can't speak Dutch.
Gary Green said: We have a juxtaposition of 2D and 3D visuals, flashy turn-based combat, quirky anime characters with cheeky dialogue with plenty of partial nudity; Yes, this is a Compile Heart JRPG. Whilst the engine is borrowed from Hyperdimension Neptunia mk2, Mugen Souls is more of a Disgaea spin-off. It’s not a strategy RPG as such, it merely sits within Disgaea’s ever-expanding universe (Multiverse? Netherverse? Your guess is as good as mine). You won’t find cameos though, since Mugen Souls is a franchise which aims to stand on its own two feet.
Huzaifa from eXputer: "2008 was home to the likes of Call of Duty: World at War, Dead Space, GTA 4, Far Cry 2, Left 4 Dead, and many other hits, which is outright remarkable."
Just about every year in the 7th generation was great and something we most likely won't experience again.
2009 for example had Assassin's Creed 2, Batman: Arkham Asylum, Dragon Age: Origins, Uncharted 2, Halo 3: ODST, Killzone 2, Borderlands, Bayonetta, and Demon's Souls to name a few.
While the mainstream media always sees things turning in favor of the hero, here are 6 games that own being a bad guy.
Pretty much all of these games listed are based around a morality system you don't have to be bad and you don't have to be good.
It seems to have left out some real amazing games like red dead redemption 1/2,ass effect and true crime la/ny
Armored Core VI?
Ok, I'm really missing something here. Just beat chapter 3 earlier this evening, unlocked A-rank Arena fights. I'm not seeing or sensing any branching paths or morality system and I've done every side mission and arena fight available to me up to that fight.
Is something big coming soon to branch the story?
No mention of Grand Theft Auto? Saints Row (original trilogy), Manhunt? Also The Suffering (depending on the ending you get).
nuff said!! i`m happy
good times folks ... good times
then announce those stupid games so i can have a reason to buy one and they better be good, if this is more sony lies i will not buy a ps3
Sweeeet
That's a lot of games in a short period of time. This time next year would probably be a good time to start comparing the 360 and the PS3.
Anyone see that Wii commercial with Tiger? That was a great idea...
