New gameplay footage of the XBLA-game Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 1989 has hit the internet. This is further evidence that the game is coming the Xbox Live Arcade.
Want to know all the TMNT games released to date? There are many which worked well, and some which didn't. Here's a complete history!
It's sad this comic book turned tabletop roleplaying game never got a good video game.
GotGame: The turtles have been in video games since 1989, 25 years ago, which is a very long video game career, especially for a licensed franchise. Their games have arguably dipped in quality over the years, but as far as beat ‘em up games go, the Ninja Turtles are easily one of the most iconic franchises in the genre.
Just in time to deliver us from director Michael Bay’s imminent cinematic evisceration of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, self-proclaimed “TeacherRapperHero” Random, aka Mega Ran, has released a new video collaboration with nerdcore rapper/producer Klopfenpop that pays homage to both the original Teenage Mutant Ninja turtles film and classic Konami arcade and NES beat-’em-up. The video, which features animated sprites by Tron Bonne and a totally tubular chiptune remix of the iconic T.U.R.T.L.E. Power, Partners N Kryme’s rap from the 1990 original motion picture set to the backdrop of footage from all your favorite TMNT games on NES, SNES, and Sega Genesis.
i'm so excited for this game now... this is going to bring back so many memories!!
too aged for my taste. Don't get me wrong, I love beat 'em ups but I'd rather see some later and better ones like Cadillacs and Dinosaurs. Why not release International Karate+? That game would be great on Live.
That brings back some memories!!!
