MyWii Preview: Dead Rising, No Jumping, Less Melee Weapons

Mywii: "With every new piece of information that comes forward about Dead Rising: Chop Till You Drop it seems more and more like little to no adjustments are being made to the Resident Evil 4 engine. Jumping, an integral part to Frank West's zombie bashing, has been omitted as it wasn't part of the RE 4 game engine. To top things off their are going to be less weapons than in the original 360 title, not what we were hoping to hear."

"Dead Rising: Chop Till You Drop looks like one of the best games on the Wii in a long while, we just hope that the $30 360 version isn't superior in every way."

Face it. Less features, content plus downgraded graphics will mean the 360 will be way way way more superior. I don't even know why their wasting time on this. They should've just recreated the whole game using cel-shaded graphics.

Oh I do like cell shading :)

Why do people feel they need a jump button for every game? Is that just instilled in minds because of Mario or something?

Top 10 Worst Video Game Remakes

Alex S. from Link-Cable writes: "Video game remakes are a special thing, as typically no one sets out to remake a game that was poorly received when it was originally launched but instead it’s usually only the best of the best that get the remake treatment. Games that reviewed well, were a hit with fans and (maybe most importantly) sold well are often chosen for remakes (why do you think there are so many Final Fantasy and Zelda remakes?) so it stands to reason that most remakes – are typically quite good (check out our list of the best remakes ever)… typically. So today we’re dragging these games out of the gutter to remember why they earned the title of worst remakes of all time, whether it’s because they turned a perfectly good experience sour or are just bad games in their own right."

The Unpopular Opinion 3: Games We Liked That Many Did Not

SuperPhillip Central writes, "The staff at SuperPhillip Central loves games. This article focuses on the latter type of games. As the title suggests, this is our second go at representing the games that a sizable chunk of gamers and critics lambasted yet we still enjoy."
