Palworld Has Finally Evolved Pokemon

They don't even copy and paste the formal well, I'd be happy with the older formula. Now the games always have to have some cheap gimmick attached to them.

I bought Sword close to release because I hadn't played a Pokemon game in ages. When I found out you couldn't even attempt to capture certain Pokemon that were high level in the field. I instantly traded it in. The games are actually getting worse over time. Who the hell thought it was a good idea to put a limiter as to what you can even attempt to catch in the game, lol.

Last one I enjoyed was Black 2. Haven’t really gotten into another like that since. I tried X/Y and Ruby remake, but I only made it a couple gym badges in. Despite their massive popularity and continued success, the series is resting on its laurels, and the new games are so lazily put together, run terribly, and look god awfully ugly on a console that has beautiful games like Monster Hunter Rise, Xenoblade Chronicles 3, Metroid Prime Remastered, Luigi’s Mansion 3, and Tears of the Kingdom.

They need to admit Game Freak just can't do a Pokemon game we want, if I was Nintendo I'd try somehow to get another developer on board to do the mainline games while Game Freak is put to work on remakes, support and side games in the style of their older sprite games.

They also need to drop the two version bullshit, focus on one game and included everything they can. All they have to do is maybe have each New Game run randomise some Pokemon they would usually separate into their two versions so you can still trade with people online or just wait until the End Game where you can catch the Pokemon you couldn't get earlier on. Least then it keeps each new game run fresh.

This game is not that good. Idk why all the hype over this, it looks like a rust/ark Pokemon rip off. Gameplay is buggy, movement look horrible and there's no real objective.

Probably is though, I know we all have different opinions on things and that's ok but personally I find Fortnite and this game absolute tripe.
It's hard to fathom for me why certain games gravitate a big audience but hey I also think animal crossing is mad bonkers for 20 plus year olds.

I like the game. I have been playing it most of the afternoon. It's not a blockbuster single player linear game, but it is a time consumer. I will be enjoying this with my two younger sons. They love pokemon and actually thought that I was playing a Pokemon game.

It'll most likely stay that way judging by their previous work which looks the same, plays the same, and has mixed reviews on steam. Let the hype settle down and another year pass by and much like many early access games it will remain looking and playing as if it's incomplete.

Taking things from other games happens literally in every single game. Ark had/has HORRIBLE buggy ass game play. The objective is to enjoy the game lmao, but guess you need to be told what to do.

Also Pokemon has been an overrated stale mess for over a decade, I am glad everyone else is picking up the slack. Character design is phenomenal in Palworld, Persona does more then Pokemon, Temtem makes pokemon games look like a joke, Dragon Quest just did its thing and Ni No Kuni is phenomenal. EVERYONE is making pokemon look bad, so keep "ripping" it off as you put it, if they are being done better im all for it.

Finally companies are doing what gamefreak/pkmn company/nintendo cannot or refuse to do.

This is good, I know pkmn will still sell crazy but hopefully this will make the mainline pkmn games better.

Pokémon with guns is not the evolution of Pokémon I want. What made the first few Pokémon games so fun is that they were basically Final Fantasy games with a party full of cute monsters. I think Palworld is so popular is the great desire for a real Pokémon game outside the Nintendo ecosystem, and not how it changes Pokémon gameplay.

Only the first few? If people like Palworld let them have fun with it. I've already seen quite a few comments saying how nice it is to have a game that people finally want that GameFreak still has figured out how to do.

Funny thing is if you've played the game you wouldn't think it's about pokemon with guns because the monsters in this game fight each other in the wild with their regular abilities, not guns. Guns start appearing a couple hours into the game and they're used by human npcs. I haven't seen any monsters use them yet. I know they can tho.

Now Nintendo can counter with a Pokémon World game. Capturing, Crafting, Gyms, Dungeons and a great story. Have it be online multiplayer too.

Finally? So you waited for Pokemon inspired games to evolve? Brah we been playing games with custey anime characters with guns for decades now. What's the catch other than their being brain-dumb main extremely stream fodder? The trick is evolving past Pokemon, not reverting back to it.

i think pkmn shouldnt be handled by gamefreak anymore
the dev team just doesnt know how to work on 3d modelling.

i think we should amso moce to a more mature pmmn. not 18+ but maybe have deeper and darker themes.
