Listen, you need to play Live A Live

Gamerterra.com writes: Live A Live is art. Pure art. It was too much art for the west back in the days of the SNES. But it has inspired developers of all sorts, from Yoko Taro of Nier fame to Toby Fox of Undertale fame. It was one of the first major projects of Kingdom Hearts composer, Yoko Shimomura. It was directed by Takashi Tokita, of Chrono Trigger and Parasite Eve fame, penned by Nobuyuki Inoue, who wrote Mother 3, and drawn by Gosho Aoyama, the man behind Detective Conan, among several other prolific manga artists. It’s a dream team game, a dream team game that nobody knows about!

I will. If it actually cares to have an audience outside of a single console.

Well Nintendo was the only publisher that showed Square interest in the game (Nintendo co-published overseas) Maybe we’ll see a PC release

Id buy this on ps4 to check it out but i dont like playing the switch much. I dont care for the joy cons and its a hassle to unhook everything from the kids area. I know its portable but eh. Come on square release it on playstation.

Put it out on PS5 alongside of Octopath. I played OT for about 95 hours. Amazing but I don’t like playing games on the Switch.

LIVE A LIVE | How Takashi Tokita Brought the Classic RPG to the West

LIVE A LIVE’s original director and producer of the HD-2D remake Takashi Tokita talks to Marketing Manager Jay Curtis and Associate Sales Manager Megan Pelt about the history of the game, how the remake came to be, and what unique challenges present themselves in adapting a classic Super Famicom title to an audience outside of Japan nearly three decades later.

They jerked us in the west on numerous jrpgs. I get it the times we're different but it sucks knowing how many jrpgs we missed over a translation. Not just from square either. I like square doing these. I'd prefer beefed up graphical over hd2d but hd2d is pretty dope to so I won't hate. Keep em coming square.

Some physicals wouldn't hurt though wth

jznrpg336d ago

Give me physical NA PS5 version and I’ll buy it
