I know a lot of people are still playing this online. Would be a bit of a shocker if true.

lodossrage750d ago

who do you know that's still playing it online?

According to this article, online has been turned off for the series for three months (since January) so far. They said after Elden Ring released it would be turned back on, but they haven't and Elden has been out for a month now.

Me and a friend were going through the DS2 on pc, believe or not people still come and go and still plays it from time to time and we were going to get ds3 after 100% ds2...

I was certainly wanting to go back to DS3 with my brother on PC. Haven't been able to because of this. So yeah, it is still in fact affecting people.

i understand the authors frustration i'm not the best at parrying in games. not that i can't complete a game that requires it but it is a definite harder thing for me than other kinds of techniques in games. which might be the main reason it's so heavily added in games nowadays. want to make your game challenging without having to do a lot of work? just add a parry boss. (what i mean by parry boss is a boss you have to beat by parrying such that their attacks will kill you otherwise)

I always think it's fine as long as such games also have the roll/dodge panic button. But I understand the will to parry, it seems so cinematic in a fight when you pull it off.
